WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY \\Glisczynski & Associates, Inc. is a full-service financial firm committed to helping people pursue their goals. We offer a wide range of financial products and services

to individuals and business owners. Most recently Glisczynski & Associates, through Brookstone Capital Management, has launched a NO TRANSACTION FEE trading platform, for all securities asset management. This allows them to manage their clients’ assets in an environment that permits them to trade without the client incurring a trading fee. This advisory platform prevents the common problem investors run into with brokers trading solely for fee generation, not for the betterment of the client.

Glisczynski & Associates recently launched SMARToption, a very unique investment strategy. The primary goal of SMARToption is to grow wealth while protecting capital. SMARToption does not rely on market timing, asset allocation or buy and hold strategies as we believe all three of these

traditional approaches are flawed. In this respect, SMARToption seeks to maximize returns and minimize losses in all three types of market conditions (bull, bear and flat market cycles). Investors not using options are unable to adequately protect themselves from down markets.

Normally, investors that seek stock-like returns have been forced to accept stock-like risks, which include high levels of volatility and participation in bear market losses that can range from 20% to over 50%. Because SMARToption uses strategies to hedge the equity position it holds, it has been able to mathematically limit losses in each of the four down years we have had in stocks in the last decade. Dean Zayed, President of BCM says, “In 2000, 2001 and 2002, during the tech stock crash and the dot-com bubble, while stocks were down all three of those years, SMARToption was up all three years. Furthermore, in 2008, when the S&P 500 index was down 37%, SMARToption was down only 3.71% before fees. We feel passionately that SMARToption should be the core strategy our advisors use and recommend to clients seeking long term growth.”

Glisczynski & Associates, Inc. has been in Plover for over 27 years and can be reached at 715-341-8899. We are a member of the Business Council because we support locally owned businesses, and encourage others to do the same, and the Business Council supports that type of thinking. Investment Advisory Services offered through Brookstone Capital Management LLC, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor.\\\\\

Ignite Leadership Network members gathered for our June L3 with featured speaker, Kathryn Jeffers at The Meeting Grounds in Amherst. Jeffers is a writer and teacher who believes that leadership requires us to find solutions to real-life business and interpersonal challenges. She has been on the program faculty at the University of Wisconsin - School of Business in Executive Education for over two decades. She has a Masters Degree in Communication and is the author of Don’t Kill The Messenger.

Jeffers presented on “Leadership in Every Day Life” and focused on observable communication behaviors found in organizations including strategies for improved productivity through communication and candor

and in the workplace. She encouraged participants to think about their “small ‘l’ leadership” which she described as leading by attributes, behavior, communication, risk taking and intrinsic motivation.

This lunch series is designed to be an intimate roundtable discussion over lunch with area business and community leaders. This is an opportunity for Ignite members to meet area leaders and hear their personal stories while engaging in a conversation about life, community and leadership.\\\\\
