– A PASTORAL CARE NOTE –
Mount Pleasant is a family of prayer, and we relay prayer requests in a few different forms – an email
distribution list, our weekly prayer list at Wednesday night Prayer Meeting, and the weekly 55+ newsletter
being a few. Each are updated as information is relayed to the church office.
Please email requests and updates to [email protected] or talk to Lauren in the church office (526-0816) so that all forms of the prayer list
can be updated. Please remember that some information may change
during the week, and may appear differently in different forms as updated information is available
WEEKLY FUNNY! A minister parked his car in a no-parking zone in a large city because he was short of time and couldn’t
find a space with a meter. Then he put a note under the windshield wiper that
read: “I have circled the block 10 times. If I don’t park here, I’ll miss my appointment.
Forgive us our trespasses.” When he returned, he found a citation from a police
officer along with this note: “I’ve circled this block for 10 years. If I don’t give
you a ticket I’ll lose my job. Lead us not into temptation.”
