Notes on CodeNotes on Code

International Mechanical Code is used in Connecticut.

The BOCA code is used in MA. Each town or municipality has the right to

add requirements to the code. Remember EPA requirements as well.

The CT licensing exam is open book and you will be given a list of code books to bring. Make sure you have the correct version.

Current CT code is IMC2003. Update your code books every time a new

version comes out.
