Training Course DetailsThe Course will be presented by Ventsim™/Pumpsim™ Developer,Mr Craig Stewart.
This course will educate participants in fundamental pump/pipenetwork design and improvement strategies. Using Pumpsim™,course participants will model and simulate a wide variety of pumpand pipe networks and scenarios. Participants will also learn howto optimise existing pump/pipe systems, in order to achieve operational cost savings.
All participants will receive a 30-day license of the latest version of Pumpsim™ADVANCED and example files for course work and post course exercises.
Participants are required to bring a suitable laptop.

Course ContentsBasic Flow Simulation and Model Design
● Pipe flow simulation/modelling concepts and theory● Pumpsim™ user interface● Building a basic water supply model● Use of pipes, channels, pumps, valves, tanks and drains● Adding pump curves and correct pump sizing● Handling and correction of common warnings and errors.
Advanced Modelling and Dynamic Simulation
● Build a real mine model from DXF file source● Create new fluid presets (eg slurry and paste fill)● Working with Aquifers and Stored Water Voids● Dynamic Simulation - Scenarios and Rules● Dynamic Simulation - Analysing Results
