on a white paper marked with the ‘X’ sign as shown in the figure below.

5 cm3 sulphuric acid of l.0 mol dm-3 was added to the sodium thiosulphate solution and themixture swirled. At the same time the stopwatch was started. The time is taken as soon as the ‘X’ sign is no longer visible.

The experiment is repeated using the different concentration of sodium thiosulphate.

The table below shows the results of experiment with the different concentration of sodium thiosulphate solution.
