DATE OF DESCRIPTION 2008 DESCRIPTION Proceed 4.0 km (2.50 mi) west along the Mammoth-Tower highway from Tower Junction. Bench mark is in top of a 4- by 12-foot boulder that projects about 4 feet above the ground surface, 23.2 m (76.1 ft) east of the centerline of the highway, and 4.2 m (13.8 ft) southwest of a fallen triple-trunked lone pine tree.
