French colonists, the cathedral was constructed between 1863
and 1880.

Minh City, near Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, the city's main
church. The building was constructed when Vietnam was part
of French Indochina in the early 20th century.

Colonial Style to serve as Saigon’s City Hall. Since 1975, it has
served as a headquarters of Ho Chi Minh City People’s
Committee.

magnificent building, designed by French Architect Ferret
Eugene, was built as a classical opera house with 800 seats to
entertain French colonists.

cultural significance, built by the French in 1868 to mark the newly established colony of
Indochina.
War Remnant Museum: comprehensively documents the
travails of the long Vietnam- American War. Inside are detailed
photographic exhibitions; outside is a collection of tanks, planes
and weapons. A powerful experience, this museum is
guaranteed to provoke strong emotions.
Cu Chi Tunnels: an incredible underground tunnel network
constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long
struggle for independence. The tunnels, over 250km in length
and up to three levels deep in places, played a huge part in the
Viet Cong’s victory over the Americans, allowing them to
control a large rural area surrounding Ho Chi Minh City.
Today, some of the remaining tunnels have been opened to

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology: This maynot be the largest
but certainly the most interesting museums in Hanoi and
Vietnam. There are a number of houses modeling after the
traditional architecture of ethnic minorities, especially those
who live in Northern and Central highlands.
Water Puppet Show: an ancient Vietnamese form of
entertainment, which enables the puppeteers to control their
active marionettes by levers hidden under the water. Water
puppet skits generally enact ancient folklore and legends that
are rural in origin, and the theme of water is often present, as it
defines so much of Vietnam’s landscape.
Halong Bay: In 1962, Ha Long Bay was recognized as a
vestige and beauty spot of national significances by Ministry
of Culture and Information of Viet Nam and was also
recognized as a world national heritage site twice by UNESCO
Organization. The first time, in 1994 for the exceptional and
universal value of the landscape and the second time in 2000

National Museum: the former Royal Palace which houses the
collection of valuables including the famous Prabang Buddha
statue, gifts received from foreign dignitaries.
Night Bazaar Street: where you can find the lovely collection
and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people
surrounding Luang Prabang
Hill Tribe Villages: Northern Laos is home to many ethnic
minorities such as Yuan, Hmong, Khmu…This trip is short
getaway from Luang Prabang, but enough to visit a good
number of villages where the ethnic minorities inhabit. No
other better way to experience local daily life.
That Luang Stupa: is a gold-covered large Buddhist stupa in

the centre ofVientiane, Laos. Since its initial establishment, suggested to be in the 3rd
century, the stupa has undergone several reconstructions as recently as the 1930s due to
foreign invasions of the area. It is generally regarded as the most important national
monument in Laos and a national symbol.
Wat Phra Keo: was used as the royal chapel of the Lao
Monarchy, but more importantly it was built to house the
Emerald Buddha.
Wat Sisaket: is one of the most important temples in Laos
and known as the only temple that survived the Siamese
occupation that destroyed Vientiane in 1828. It was restored in
1924 and subsequently in 1930. The architecture of the temple
has some Siamese influence but is mostly based on Laos
design. All in all, the temple contains more than 5,000 Buddha
statues in various sizes and postures.
Patuxay: is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph,
a war monument dedicated to those who fought for the
