Controller Status

• Provides a “snap shot” of the current configuration of controllers on the network– Either one selected controller or all controllers

Open the Controller Window

• Click the tool bar button

OR• Select the Setup >

System pull-down menu option

• Then click on the Controller Status tab

Collecting Controller Status

• Displays controller status– Select one controller and click the button for that

controller’s status– Click the button for the status of all controllers

Viewing Controller Status

• Use the scroll bars to step through all status information and all controllers

Door Name and Controller/Door Address

• Door name lists the text name assigned to each door• Address lists the individual controller/door addresses

Online Status

• Identifies the controller’s online status– - Actively communicating with the network– - Powered off or disconnected from the network, or not

requested by the operator

Controller Type

• Identifies the controller model and configuration– PXL-250 P/W PXL-500/510 P/W Entraguard– SB-293 SB-593– 1 door or 2 door

ROM Revision / RAM Configuration

• Identifies the controller’s ROM firmware revision• Identifies the controller’s RAM size

– RAM size correlates to the number of users that can be assigned to the controller

Events / Users in Memory

• Lists the number of events currently stored in the controller (maximum of 3,640)

• Lists the number of users stored in the controller’s memory

Date and Time

• Lists the date and time the controller status information was collected

Cold and Warm Resets

• Lists the number of times the controller’s power has been cycled off and on

• Lists the number of times the controller’s microprocessor reset itself

POST Failures

• Lists the number of times the controller’s power on self test failed– Indicative of a RAM or controller power issue

Local APB

• Identifies if local anti-passback has been enabled for that controller

Access Enabled

• Identifies if the controller’s reader is currently turned on (enabling access control reading) or off (disabling access control reading)

Reader Type

• Lists the type of reader connected to the controller– Proximity or Wiegand

Door Status and Door Lock

• Lists the state of the door status switch on the door at the time controller status was read

• Lists the status of the door lock at the time controller status was read

Door Open Time / Unlock Time

• Lists the number of seconds a door can be held open before a “door held open” alarm is generated

• Lists the number of seconds that a door’s lock relay will be active following a valid access request

Door Unlock Timezone

• Lists the unlock timezone that has been assigned to the door

First Person In

• Lists the First Person In value assigned to that door

Door Forced / Door Held Outputs

• Lists the output where a door forced alarm will be directed

• Lists the output where a door held open alarmwill be directed

• Lists the action taken by the controller when a Primary or Auxiliary RTE signal is received
