Clickthe blue Next: Teacher Profilebutton and enter as many or few details as you wish

(you can simply continue to the next screen without entering any information) you can

alter your profile at any time.

Click the blue Next: Follow Communities button to produce a list of

communities you may wish to follow to exchange ideas or

information on specific areas of interest. You can also join to these

communities at a later date by clicking the Browse button in the

left hand menu.

If you have been invited to join a group, click Join toenter the

unique code you have been given by the group creator.

Type the code here and click

join.

Alternatively click Create to enter the details of a new group you wish to create.

You will be given a unique code that

applies to that specific group only.

This code will appear in the right

hand panel whenever you click on

that group. You must give this code

to everyone you want to join your

group.

All of your groups will be listed in the

left hand panel of your homepage.

To help differentiate between groups

you can change the colour by

clicking on the square to the left of

the group name.

You are able to see the members within a group by clicking on

the members tab at the top of each group page.

From within a group you have

the option of creating small

groups enabling specific

discussions/information to reach

a limited number of

members.Note this option is only available to the creator of the group unless you have

been given co-teacher rights by the group creator.Click the small groups tab and click

new small group.

Click and drag these

group members.

Click to change

to Co-Teacher

Enter the small group name and create the group.

Members of your original group will appear in the

right hand panel, simply click and drag them to

add them to the new small group.

To change a teacher access to co-

teacher, click on the teacher from the

member screen then click the drop

down box titled access and select

Co-Teacher.

To add a comment or question, click the note icon and type into the box. You also have

the option of uploading documents or creating website links under this section.

Comments or questions will appear in shaded boxes and have the creators name directly

above. The date the comment was posted will appear on the bottom of the post. To reply

to a specific post click the reply icon as this will link the reply directly to the post rather

than create an unlinked new post.

Edmodo support is available by clicking on the large red question mark icon and

accessing printed information on the right of the screen or by typing a question directly to

the support team within edmodo.

Once you have clicked the Note

typing box to type your

message, the additional options

will become available.

Click here to upload a file

from your computer or

external storage device.

Click here to add the

URL of a website you

wish to provide a link

to.

The alert has a text

limit and will appear in

bold font.

You can create

assignments and

set a due date.

Click here

to create a

quiz or poll

for member

to take or

vote on.

Determine

when the

notification

will be sent

Either send to the entire group or

click in x and type into the box

the recipients of the note
