Tip 1 –Each Media has it’s own unique communication style

• Each channel should get it's own post in the appropriate way
• NEVER use a hashtag (#) on any other media unless it’s Twitter
• Exception: informing all channels about an event’s hashtag
• ALWAYS use proper Business Language on LinkedIn

• Stay top of mind with the attendees pre, during and post event – creating a 365-day experience

• Make it relevant or appropriately funny• Know the difference between good enough and excellent.• 80 / 20 Rule: 80% is about them / 20% is about you• Use Video to allow your prospects to virtually meet sponsors / speakers ahead of time

• Definition: The Social Graph is the representation of our relationships. In present day context, these graphs define our personal, family, or business communities on social networking websites
• Turn your attendees into marketers• Don’t just share that they are attending, tell them why
everyone should!• Spotlight series – looking at key sponsors /
exhibitors/speakers
Tip 6 – Tap into your Key Influencers• Know who your industry’s key influencers are• Ask them for help – then thank them in an appropriate way
