The final acts entertained the entire student body as well as staff and supportive family and friends. We were treated to a wide variety of acts highlighting the diverse creative talents of our students. The best thing about this event was the way the entire student body embraced the occasion. Performers were very engaging and loved what they were doing and audience members were so supportive and encouraging of their friends as they entertained us. Everyone commented on what a fun feel good mood the entire talent quest gave and because of that, every single contestant was a winner. A well-rehearsed item performed by a group of Year 6 boys was awarded first place this year. Great work boys. Official 2018 talent quest placings were: 1 st : Wiggles: Sebastian Smith, Shaun Smith, William Murphy, Joseph Polsen and Kayne Worldon 2 nd : The Winky Wonky Donkey: Deanna Smith, Elena Loukissas, Claire Lindley, Evie Jones and Eadyn Lindley 3 rd : Beat Box: Hunter Field. Today Semester Two Reports are being sent home and should reflect the personal milestones that students have achieved. Parents are encouraged to discuss the contents of the report with their children and offer praise, encouragement and guidance. If you wish to find out more about your child’s progress or achievements please contact the office this week and make an appointment with the class teacher. It was a real pleasure looking at each students report and seeing the great progress achieved by many and the very positive comments teachers made about our children. All students are to be congratulated on an outstanding year of learning where together we strove to implement high quality educational opportunities across all Key Learning Areas so every student could reach and even surpass their full potential. Staff and students are looking forward to an exciting and busy last two weeks of the school year. To help you keep track of all the extra activities that are occurring I have provided a day by day outline later in the newsletter that might help you stay informed at such a busy time. I hope to catch up with you at some of these events which really showcase and celebrate our student’s achievements. YEAR 6 GRADUATION DAY This Thursday is a very special day for all Year 6 students with Graduation Day being held at the school. On behalf of staff and students I would like to thank each of you for being a tremendous group of students in your time at our school. We wish you every success as you begin the next chapter of your lives. We are very proud of you and will miss you. Staff and Students are both very confident of claiming the Farewell Cup at the Student Vs Staff T Ball Challenge this year. May the best team win!

SOFTFALL A huge thank you to our P&C, in particular Loren Rose and Lauren Smart, for working tirelessly to secure a grant of $70,000 from MP Steph Cooke and then organise the installation of the soft fall.
