About Rally

Automobile club 'Delta Sport' from Zagreb, in cooperation with muncipality Kumrovec and Terme Tuhelj, on 10 and 11 April 2015 is organizing international rally event 4. RALLY KUMROVEC 2015!

The competition was entered in the FIA and Croatian Car and Karting Federation calendar, and count as International FIA zone competition, Croatian Rally Championship, CCFK ASN North Region Championship and as Rally Challenge.

We expect more then 50 rally crews from Croatia and region countries with perceived media coverage due to the very interesting location of maintenance, as well as thousands of spectators along the special stages.

On Friday for all participants will be organized new and very attractive prologue in Terme Tuhelj with many awards, while the «official» part of competition will be held on Saturday at the 4 circuit stages in Kumrovec.

Whole itinerary is around 50 km with almost 90 % of special stages!

Auto club „Delta Sport“ Zagreb was founded 19 December 2000. After ten years of organizational and financial inactivity, experienced motorsport marshals has activated it's operation in order to organize, perform and participate in organization of sports events.

Auto club „Delta Sport“ Zagreb is sports society registered by Office for administration of the City of Zagreb, founded in order to promote and develop automotive and karting sport.

In a short period of time it has become one of biggest and best organized auto clubs which gathers many longtime activists in the automotive and karting in this region.

Club was given the prize for the best rally organizer by Croatian car and karting federation in 2012 and 2013

for „Rally Kumrovec“.

Welcome to the northwestern part of the Republic of Croatia, the Krapina - Zagorje County, which is a separate geographical entity and stretches from the peaks of Macelj and Ivančica in the north, Medvednice on the southeast, while the western border, also the state border with the Republic of Slovenia river Sutla and eastern border watershed basins of Krapina and Lonja.

4HISTORY

“Rally Kumrovec '70s, '80s … Rally Kumrovec 2015“

The motorsport in Hrvatsko Zagorje, in Kumrovec, has its history. In

the former state, during '70s and '80s the motorsport event Car and

motorcycle rally Kumrovec was one of the biggest sporting events

and gatherings. These were the competition with over 200

competitors at the start, where to enter the top-10 in the class was a

huge success, and win one from 1 - 3 for many ureal.

In late 2010 a new idea and initiative to return Kumrovec to Croatian

sports racing map was born. Soon the members of Auto Club DELTA

SPORT Zagreb have started the preparations for the "1st Sprint

RALLY KUMROVEC 2011." which was the first competition of the

Croatian Rally Championship season. With more thousands

spectators at the premiere edition of the race the crew Janos Szilagyi

/ Viktoria Zejda took the victory in Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX.

A year after, "2nd RALLY KUMROVEC 2012." once again was the first

competition in the calendar of Croatian Car and Karting Federation,

and in March its start has gathered 40-odd crews from Croatia,

Slovenia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. Special

Stages "Kumrovec" and "Zagorska sela" have brought to the many

enthusiastic spectators an excellent fight for the top of overall

standigs including three Mitsubishi Lancers EVO IX. In the end, the

crew of the Organizer - Auto Club DELTA SPORT Zagreb, SZILAGYI-

CSANYI celebrated ahead of the crew PULIĆ-BITTERMAN, with the

advantage of 20.5 seconds. Third place was won by Croatian

champions, the crew ŠEBALJ-KLINC, whose delay was 34 seconds.

Traditionally the third consecutive year the rally season began

in Kumrovac on the "3rd RALLY KUMROVEC 2013. "At the start

list was 45 crews from three European countries. After 10

special stages in two days, and after unlucky retirement of

favourites and by then the leading crew Szilagyi / Csanyi

victory for the first time took members of AC DT, Daniel Šaškin /

Damir Bruner, in front of the Slovenian crew Rajko Žakelj / Blaz

Selan in Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX and extremely attractive

local crew Škalić / Škalić in Lada VTFS.
