Introduction
Welcome to the first production from the admin staff of The Green
Room. Our experience with members of The Green Room and the reseller
community at large have made us realize that many beginner and
intermediate hustlers out there are looking to step up their game. Even the
expert resellers are always on the lookout to fine-tune their knowledge. We
decided the best way to help fulfill this need would be by creating a guide,
one that people can relate to and learn from.
We spent a couple months generating content and are now proud to
present this guide for your learning pleasure. Before jumping into the
information, however, you will need to know how to use this guide to its
fullest extent. It’s paramount that you look at this guide with an open mind.
Try to associate the pictures with the items and brands, and study the guide
frequently. We designed the guide specifically to have items that anyone
can find. That’s correct—you will find a decent amount of this stuff out
there in the field; you only need to start looking.
We purposely decided against placing absolute pricing information in
this guide. Markets and prices are always changing. People also differ on
how they view item condition. Many factors are at hand when pricing the
items in this guide, one of the most important being what you paid for the
item in the first place. The guide is exactly what it is—a guide. It’s meant to
be a beacon, a light pointing you in the correct direction. Ultimately, you
will still need to sail the boat yourself, if you follow our metaphor.
Within the information about each item, we include several important
things to consider before purchasing. First, we provide an inspection hint
and discuss what to look for in terms of condition. Think of it as a test of
whether the item is worth buying. The suggestions are geared to help you
make money when you sell and save money by not purchasing an item in
poor condition in the first place.
The second part of each item description involves guidance on which
channel to market the product. This is not an absolute, and you may have
6
better luck selling an item via a different avenue than the ones we suggest.
However, this section will tell you the places that have worked the best for
us as the admins.
Third, each item in the guide has a difficulty-to-sell rating. This rating
takes into account the size of the prospective market as well as the effort
you will need to expend to bring the item to the market. We must add,
though, that people may differ in their opinions about difficulty. The truth
we have found through The Green Room and through others out there in
YouTube land is that each person has strengths and weaknesses and likely
will approach getting an item to the market in different ways. Be aware of
your own strengths and weaknesses when considering an item’s rating.
Fourth, we give a how-to-spot suggestion that tells someone looking
from a bird’s-eye perspective how to zero in on the relevant item. Garage
sales and thrift stores are often overflowing with items. Having a wide view
and an open mind is priceless in this business. The how-to-spot suggestion,
along with the pictures, will help you zero in on these profitable sellers. For
example, if you see something you think might be a crawler body, the how-
to-spot suggestion will help you further determine whether the item is
indeed the type of thing you should be looking deeper into or buying.
One of the best parts of this guide is the Green Room Score. Here we
tell you about the goldmine item, the sure shot in a profit sense. Assuming
you’re buying at a decent price, the Green Room Score will pay you well.
The item or items in this section will be Holy Grail types of items, but
finding them certainly will not be farfetched either. Just don’t expect to
come across these very often because, truthfully, that’s what a Holy Grail
item is in the first place, right? If you end up finding something from the
Green Room Score section, you’ll never forget it because you’ll know what’s
up!
The Green Room Tip is a section where we give you an extra
important tip, something that may not necessarily fit in other sections. It’s
all still relevant stuff though, so we decided to put this section in here and
there throughout the guide. Regardless if you see the section or not, pay
7
attention to all parts of the guide, as each section will help you become
more accustomed to hustling some great stuff.
Lastly, for some items, we’ve included a Best Brands or Best Models
section. It’s not a comprehensive section, and it’s definitely not telling you
to purchase only those brands. Instead, it lists some brands that we as
admins have noticed are the safe ones to risk money on. Of course, if your
purchasing habits are uninformed or undisciplined, then you can certainly
still mess up hustling an item in the Best Brands or Best Models section.
We appreciate you either purchasing this guide or joining The Green
Room. Each publication we put out promises to be packed with focused
direction and sound money-making advice. We wish you the best of luck in
your quest to supplement your income stream, and we are proud of you for
taking a step into your personal education. Treat this guide as the gateway
into an incredible income stream, and don’t forget to show us, The Green
Room admin staff, your support by telling others about our publications,
offerings, and The Green Room itself if you’re a current member. We hope
to deliver more amazing content for everyone in the future. With that being
said, go enjoy the guide!

for dings or excessive rust. Spin wheels to see if wobbly. Test shifters to
see if they move and shift gears.
Avenues: craigslist, eBay
Difficulty to Sell (1–5):1
How to Spot: Frame tubing is typically smaller than aluminum or
carbon. Gear shifters on the down tube or on the stem. Lugged frame—
tubes look as if they’re pushed together by joints, not welds.
Green Room Tip: Garage sales and thrift stores will likely have the
cheapest ones.
Best Brands: Peugeot, Raleigh, Trek, Fuji, Masi, Schwinn, Bianchi
Green Room Score: Peugeot PX10, any vintage Italian bike frame
9
Nerf Soft Dart Guns
Inspection: Pull back loading mechanism to see if air loads in. Pull

inside the gun. Test tripods, stands, and clip on devices (sights, dot
pointers, shields) to make sure they clip or operate properly.
Avenues: craigslist, eBay, Amazon
Difficulty to Sell (1–5):1
How to Spot: Guns will typically be yellow and orange—sometimes
blue and orange. Rare colors are clear, neon green, and red.
Green Room Tip: Many guns fetch $35+ on eBay. Sell the scopes,
red/green dot laser sights, 18-dart clips, ammo drums, sniper
attachments, shields, and tripods on eBay. Check eBay for the guns and
setups that need to have all parts together; don’t sell parts off a gun that
contribute to the gun’s overall value. Check your pile for extra parts that
you can sell on eBay. Always buy piles or singles that are super cheap.
Make a large pile of the parts with no value and place an ad on craigslist.
Garage sales are the cheapest place to find deals.

loose Legos. You can divide them up by similar pieces and color. Mini
figures can do very well separated out, especially if you research which
set they belong to. The websitehttp://brickset.com/is a great resource for
