Problem Statement:

The assignment will include the study of following methods to reduce the changeover time:

1. To observe and measure the total changeover time.

2. To identify internal versus external steps.

3. To convert as many internal steps as possible to external steps.

4. To eliminate waste from internal steps.

5. To eliminate waste from external steps.

6. To standardize and maintain the new changeover procedure.
