Children’s Television Act Certification

Dear Affiliate:

This letter is intended to assist you in satisfying your obligations under the Children’s

Television Act of 1990 (the “CTA”) and the FCC regulations relating thereto in connection

with your carriage of our video programming services (the “Discovery Networks”).

The attached schedule lists the Discovery Networks that aired children’s programs (as

defined in the CTA) last quarter and identifies the children’s programs aired on each such

network. The schedule excludes all networks distributed by Discovery that did not air

children’s programs last quarter (Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Investigation

Discovery, Destination America, Science, American Heroes Channel (formerly Military

Channel), Discovery En Español, Discovery Life Channel (formerly Discovery Fit and

Health) and MotorTrend (formerly Velocity).
