Featuring industry executives from across the supply chain, from nickel miners to stainless steel manufacturers, this annual gathering is the perfect opportunity to discuss the latest developments in the market as well as the future outlook.

Nickel price performance both this year and next year is all going to be about supply. As the CEO of French ferronickel producer Eramet noticed ‘alarming levels of overcapacity’ pushed nickel prices to extraordinary low levels in 2013, and industry analysts call for big supply reductions: would this come from production cuts or from the Indonesian ore export ban?

This year’s agenda examines the market fundamentals and nickel trading trends; the future role of the NPI industry in China and its innovations; it reviews projects and operations in the Region, and it explores at length the implications of Indonesia’s export ban on unprocessed ore: how will it affect the nickel markets? How soon will nickel ore stocks in China run out? Can supplies be sourced from other countries?
