June 2017 Exhaust Notes We Need You to volunteer your time and talents for the following positions for the Northcoast Miata Club: Historian or Web-Dude Please contact Gary Davis with any questions. Page 1 Gary's Grumblings As we move forward into the summer months, please remember with the tops down to wear a hat, use sun screen protection, take plenty of water, and drive safely. Please no texting while driving! Please check the calendar if you're interested in scheduling a drive, Around the World Lunch, or an Around the World Dinner. If you're not sure how to plan an event, check with me or any board member as we would be happy to help. Keep in mind, that if you sign up for a tour, lunch or dinner and can't attend, notify your host as many restaurants make adjustments with their staffing to accommodate us. As of May's meeting we have 223 members in our club and continue to grow. If anyone needs cards to pass out to advertise our club please see me at the next meeting. Also, we have magnetic name badges available for $15. Please see Ava if you would like to purchase one. We are a very easy group to get to know and we warmly welcome our new members. Our whole objective is to enjoy our Miatas and the fellowship that comes with them. Gary D.

21stannualFYBOTourOn April 29th 42 cars and 82 members and guests gathered in Medina for the 21st.annual FYBO Tour .According to Jane Schweitzer, founder the FYBO tours, this was a record number of cars in the history of this event. Unfortunately it was a rainy day but that didn't keep the NCMC members from joining in the fun. Cars were divided into three groups each with a group leader and a sweep. This helped make the drive run smoothly and safely. After a brief drivers meeting we were on our way. Traveling along some rolling back country roads we arrived at our destination the Der Dutchman Restaurant, in Walnut Creek, Ohio By the time we got there it was really raining. A mad dash was made into the restaurant. We all gathered in the banquet room, which has a wonderful view of the valley. The food and service were excellent and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. After lunch some members went shopping, visited other places in the area or followed us home on another route stopping for ice cream along the way
