DESCRIPTION

Originally built in 1823 this distinguished property was converted in the 1980s to create an exclusive estate of homes. Shortly after moving to Norton Grange the current owners acquired a neighbouring apartment. The conversion created significantly more space on the ground floor of the property giving a total of four reception rooms. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms all of which have been refitted. If required, the apartment could be converted back or possibly used as an annexe for extended family. Outside there is parking for several vehicles, a courtyard garden and a private wooded garden.

KINETON AND LITTLE KINETON

Norton Grange is a small private residential estate on the edge of Little Kineton. Built by Lord Willoughby de Broke in 1823, Norton Grange started life as a mansion house with stables. It remained in the family for nearly 150 years until it was bought by famous huntsman, Josh Fielding. During the 1960s and 70s the mansion house was a school, with the original stables providing accommodation for staff and students.

In the 1980s it was converted into individual homes and the outbuildings into dwellings. Over time additional properties have been built in the mature woodland grounds.

Lying in the heart of the South Warwickshire countryside, Little Kineton is a small hamlet on the periphery of the village of Kineton, nestled between the market towns of Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon and Banbury. Village amenities include; primary and secondary schools, butcher, renowned flower shop, post office, general store, doctors surgery, two public houses, popular Indian restaurant and parish church amongst others.

WARWICK

The great fire of Warwick in 1694 destroyed much of the medieval town and as a result most of the buildings post date this period.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Warwick is its world famous castle. William the Conquerer founded Warwick Castle in 1068 on his way to Yorkshire to deal with the rebellion in the north.

A consistent lure to the area for families is Warwick School which is believed to bethe oldest boys school in the country.

WARWICKSHIRE

There are no cities in Warwickshire since both Coventry and Birmingham were incorporated into the West Midlands county in 1974 and are now metropolitan authorities in themselves. Warwickshire hosts several key towns including Warwick, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Henley In Arden and Rugby to name a few. The northern tip of the county is only 3 miles from the Derbyshire border. An average-sized English county covering an area of almost 2,000 km2, it runs some 60 miles north to south. Equivalently it extends as far north as Shrewsbury in Shropshire and as far south as Banbury in north Oxfordshire.
