Command & Retirement Representative Responsibilities
• Track your commands CPO Pride Day packages.– Get an email confirmation of their paid purchase through PayPal and
keep it. • Visit the Command Representative Page on the CPO Pride Day
website for updates. – http://www.cpoprideday365.org/?page_id=821 – Pick up your command packages on the prescribed dates TBD. – Have an alternate designated command representative.

Cost of Packages
• Current Package prices:– $45.00: Limited time/quantity. Once quantity is
reached, packages will go up to $50, limited time/quantity
– CPO Pride Day Coin (June 01-June 30): $15.00– VIP Parking: $50.00 (only 50 spots available)• Fill up fast

Event Registration
• Individual online registration is mandatory for everyone who wishes to attend the event.
• There are no mass unit registrations.• Individual registration requirements help us meet
our AT/Force Protection and city permit plan.• Online payment option allows for payment by
credit card, debit card, PayPal.

• Payment online is the preferred payment as it reduces necessity for cash to change hands, reduces risk of lost or theft.
• There is an option for “pay cash/money order to your command representative”.

form input for “command/unit name”. In order to facilitate we send you a correct report (i.e. USS TARAWA (LHA1) vs. “eagle of the sea”)
USS Midway
• Please do not sell anything outside the USS Midway. (i.e. no coffee, food, coins)
• Water will be available to pick up before you go onboard.
• Start boarding around 0700 to line up for the CPO Pride Day photo between 0715-0745.
• Schedule of events will be put out at the last meeting.
• There will be a moment of silence to honor September 11th remembrance.

• We will be marching through Seaport Village with our cadences. – Genuines will be on the outside– Selectees on the inside

CPO Pride Day Competitions
• Commands will have the opportunity to compete in three separate competitions. – Cadence Competition (3 minutes)– Coin Competition– Guideon Competition
Cadence Competition
• Commands will register online through website once the CPO results are out facebook notifications and emails will go out.– Forces Afloat/Operational Small (15 or less selectees)– Forces Afloat/Operational Large (16 or more selectees)– Forces Ashore/Small Units (15 or less selectees) – Forces Afloat/Small Units (16 or more selectees)
Cadence Competition Rules• *Conduct shall not bring discredit to the Naval Service and adhere to MCPON CPO 365 guidance. • No more than 3 minutes.• Good taste and not offensive.• No animals.• No props. • Routine will be no longer than 3 minutes. There will be a clock at the Judges table to monitor the routine,
participants will not be allowed to continue past 3 minute mark. There will be a bullhorn standing by. • No rude gestures, words, sexually explicit conduct of any sort, suggestive material, and/or cross dressing
will be tolerated and is reason for immediate disqualification. • No rice, powder, confetti or other materials can be thrown on the deck (in compliance with city waste
management plan).• Participants will be selectees only.• Registration entry fee is a non-refundable if disqualified. • Routine must be originals and not a spin-off from a previous year’s group.• Final Script/Video must be submitted to the [email protected] by the 9th of September for
approval of CPO Pride Day Committee. Attn: Allison Lardent• GUIDON must be incorporated into the routine.• Marching Cadence must be similar to that used in troop movement or PT (must be CPO centric)
– Routine may be modified to accommodate for smaller stage size.

CPO Pride Day COMRELFIRST COMREL EVENT SUPPORT: LOCATION: SAN DIEGO FOOD BANKDATE/TIME: AUGUST 17th from 0900-1200 PERSONNEL NEEDED: 40-50 MEMBERSBREIF DESCRIPTION: MEMBERS SORTING THROUGH DONATED ITEMS (CHECKING EXPIRATION DATES AND CONDITION, PACKING BOXES FOR OUR SENIOR PROGRAM (ASSEMBLY LINE STYLE FOOD PACKING), MAKING FOOD BAGS FOR THE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, MAKING FOOD BAGS FOR THE FOOD4KIDS PROGRAM OR SORTING AND BAGGING FRESH PRODUCE.
SECOND COMREL EVENT SUPPORT: LOCATION: FATHER JOES VILLAGEDATE/TIME: AUGUST 27TH PERSONNEL NEEDED: 100 MEMBERSBRIEF DESCRIPTION: SUPPORTING FATHER JOES CLEANING THE STAIRWELLS IN EVERY BUILDING IN THE VILLAGE, PICKING UP TRASH AROUND THE SIDEWALKS AND PLANTERS, GARDENING, WEEDING, GARDENING BEHIND THE BACK OF THE PMC (TAKE OUT DEAD SHRUBS, TRIM TREES, WEEDING).
* Please report total number of hours for each of COMREL for whole Phase II season. The command with the most hours will receive a plaque.
Do’s and Don’ts• Do not bring a back packs or camel backs. • Do not sell any command items, drinks, or food at the USS Midway.• Do not bring pocket knifes or weapons. • Do bring your military I.D. for random checks. • Do not park at NRSW (Building 1) parking lot. You will be issued a ticket if you do not have a
parking pass from CMDCM Chad Lunsford for bus passes for the larger commands to park in the NRSW parking area. They will be screening who has the passes.
• Do take care of your newly reporting brothers & sisters (especially new CMC’s) to order their CPO Pride Day packages in advance.
• Do ensure that if you are transferring before September 11th that you order it with your correct command representative from your new command. With updated transfer information.
• Do not wear a previous year shirt or ball cap. You will be turned away. • Everyone must wear provided CPO Pride Day 2015 T-shirts and ball caps.• Active duty military NWU bottoms.• Retired military appropriate jeans or pants.
• Do ensure that you register all of your selectees for CPO Pride Day. • Do ensure that you register your command for the CPO Pride Day competitions.
– Websites and deadlines are contingent on when the results are released.
Important!!!***Your CPO Pride Day 2015 T-shirt and CPO Pride Day Hat 2015
are your tickets into the embarcadero North. If you are not in the correct uniform of the day you will not be able to enter in.
• There will be "Will Call" the morning of the event starting at 0500-0600 for all retirees and packages that have not been picked up.
• Those who ordered VIP parking will be contacted individually to pick-up VIP passes. VIP Parking will be available from 0600-0900. After that time it will no longer be available.
• Extra merchandise will be available to pick up at Embarcadero after the event at 1400.
• There will be security and proper force protection procedures in place. – Yes there will be full body scanners
