MAY 7 – TODAY! CHOIR PRACTICE at 5 pm in the Choir Room. It’s a good time to join the worship ministry of our church. MAY 4 – NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER – Pray around the flagpole! – Join us at noon around the new flagpole in front of the church on Conduit Street. Come help pray for our nation and the world. MAY 10 – BARNABAS MINISTRY / Conference Room / 9:30 am. CHILDREN AND YOUTH ACTIVITIES/ Youth Hall / 6:30 pm. THE WELL SERVICE/PRAYER SERVICE / 6:30 pm / Chapel. MAY 14 – MOTHER’S DAY MAY 18 – 55+ LUNCHEON, 10:45am Special Guest: Parker Slaybaugh, WRIC News Reporter and member of Mount Pleasant BC. He will be sharing about his work in Richmond and the news cast industry as well as some details of his upcoming wedding. Cost is still only $5. Get your money and reservation into the church office asap.

MAY 22-‐25 – LLL TRIP: THE ARK ENCOUNTER / This trip was full, but we have a couple that would like to drop out for health reasons. If you know of anyone who would be interested in going on this trip, please have them call the church office immediately. MAY 24 – LAST EVENING FOR REGULAR WEDNESDAY ACTIVITIES including church meals, children’s and youth activities, and The Well. Summer break is May 31 through September 6th. Regular Wednesday activities will resume September 13th. MAY 29 – MEMORIAL DAY – Church Office Closed. JUNE 15 – LEWIS GINTER BOTANICAL GARDENS / RICHMOND, VA / Come enjoy a leisurely stroll through the gardens and admire the handiwork of God. We will leave at 8:30 am and return at 3 pm. Cost is $14 per person + lunch at Craker Barrel. Invite your friends. JUNE 18 – FATHER’S DAY JUNE 18 – ORDINATION SERVICE / 6 pm / Sanctuary / We are ordaining three of our young men to the gospel ministry. They are: Brian Howerton, Luke Southall, and Garrett Oppel.
