Despite one decade of empowering the citizens by way of Right to Information act ,a particular insurance company officials whose ex chairman is facing corruption charges in 30 Hazaree Court, are making attempts to scuffle information of systematic support to corruption,copy of appeal has been communicated to present chairman of state owned insurance company.TRANSCRIPT

CPIO reply CPI Cell/HO/2015-16/648 dated 20/03/2016**RTI forwarded by office of President of India (appointing authority to chairman of NIACL).
(1).The applicant seeks class wise information of officials charge sheeted in terms of
Prevention of Corruption Act & among those number of officers who have been placed
under suspension.
(2). Information of order issued on behalf of President of India in respect of one
Mr. Ramdoss,a former chairman of insurance companies under (b) and (c) above who
allegedly caused huge loss of public money.

Appeal:- In the matter of corruption in public life the CPIO has sought to deny information though the ethics is that even an exempted public authority, e.g.,CBI cannot deny information of corruption …You may direct the CPIO to adopt transparency & disclose information.

apathy to serious corruption in General Insurance
Poblic Sector companies,in each of the following
their chairman is appointed by His majesty the
President of India.
(a) National insurance Co. Ltd
(b) The New India Assurance Co. Ltd
(c) Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd
(d) United India Insurance Co. Ltd
