CARRAPATEENA PROJECT Acquired from Teck Australia Pty Ltd and Rudy Gomez for US$250 million in May 2011. 1,070 square kilometres of leases. Exploration drilling commenced in October 2011. 2012 drill results support existing model and showing extensions of higher grade zones. A$29 million exploration budget for 2012.

GEOLOGY Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) deposit. Similar style of deposit as Prominent Hill (OZL) and Olympic Dam (BHPB). Majority of copper occurs as disseminated chalcopyrite and bornite within sericite and chlorite altered hematite breccias.

CONCLUSIONS The Gawler Craton contains world class Iron Oxide Copper Gold systems and is still largely under-explored due to the covered terrain.

The use of technology such as geophysics is crucial to exploration success.

The Prominent Hill Operation has underground copper resources that extend well beyond the current open pit mine life of 2019 and we are committed to convert those resources to reserves.

Carrapateena is an exciting long life project. dg remains the best way to add value to OZ
