ALPHANUSIGMASOCIETYIn 1983, a chapterof theAlphaNu SigmaSociety, thenational honor society for nuclear science andengineering, was formed at the University ofMichigan. Well over 100 undergraduate and graduatestudentshavebeen inducted into theAlphaChapterof theAlphaNuSigmaSocietyatMichigansince1983. The honor society emphasizes nuclear education by tutoring current students, and providingoutreachactivitiestoeducatehighschoolstudentsandthecommunity.Since 1993, the chapter has recognized a faculty member for contributions to undergraduate andgraduateeducation.FacultyAdvisor:AssistantProfessorBrianKiedrowski
