GENERAL INFORMATION
CONFIRMATION OF SPACE
Space may be confirmed on a definite basis as early as
twelve months in advance. All dates are subject to
approval by our Sales and Marketing Department and
are considered definite upon receipt of a $500 non-
refundable deposit and signed Catering Agreements.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE
These menus are guidelines to assist you in the planning of
your event. If you have specific needs, we will be happy to
prepare customized menus. The Hotel will provide all food
and beverage served on the premises of the Wichita
Marriott. Any food or beverage cancelled within five
working days of the event is subject to a cancellation charge
of 100% of estimated revenue. All food and beverage items
are subject to the customary 22% service charge and state
sales tax. By state law, Kansas State sales tax is added to the
total cost of the event, including service charges. Menu
prices are subject to change without notice. Your Event
Manager will confirm prices.
GUARANTEE POLICY
Guaranteed number of attendance is required for all events.
Please provide the Hotel with a specified attendance five (5)
working days prior to the event. The number will be
considered a guarantee not subject to reduction. The Hotel
will charge for the guarantee or the number served,
whichever is greater. The Hotel is not responsible for service
to more than 5% over the guarantee if the group is over 50
guests. If the Hotel does not receive a guarantee, we will
consider the number expected on the Event Order as the
guarantee.
PAYMENT
All Functions are on a pre-payment basis, due five (5)
working days prior to the reception. All payments can be
made in the form of cashier’s check, credit card payment or
cash.
APPOINTMENTS
If you would like to meet in person with our Certified
Wedding Specialist, please phone ahead for an appointment
to insure our Specialist is available.
EVENT ROOM ASSIGNMENTS
The Hotel reserves the right to assign event rooms according
to the individual group’s needs. If the number of attendees
fluctuates, the Hotel may adjust your event room
accordingly.
DECORATIONS
Complimentary votive candles and decorative centerpieces.
Black and white linens are available. For additional colors,
your Event Manager will be happy to assist you with rental.
Please do not affix anything to the walls, ceilings or floors.
Consult your Event Manager for assistance in displaying
materials.
PACKAGES
To ensure your important materials are handled properly,
we suggest that you ship them to arrive no more than three
(3) days prior to your event. Please see your Event Manager
in case handling charges apply. Please have all packages
clearly labeled with the name of the group and the date of
your event. We will be happy to assist you with the shipping
out of your materials if you supply the proper label,
shipping method and payment method.

Hiring outside vendors to provide any goods or services at the Hotel
during the event may require that such vendors provide an
indemnification agreement and proof of adequate insurance. Any
damage caused by the vendors will be the responsibility of the client.
