Our Des(ny is a course or path in life that includes both the God-‐given des(na(on you are seeking at life’s end and your own faith-‐filled journey toward that des(na(on.

Psalm 139 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Psalm 37:4 (NKJV) Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
D is for Desire
There is a desire within each of us, in the deep center of ourselves that we call our heart. We were born with it, it is never completely sa(sfied, and it never dies. We are ogen unaware of it, but it is always awake… Our true iden(ty, our reason for being, is to be found in this desire.
Gerald May (The Awakened Heart)
Prayer is the language of desire – John Eldredge
Desire gives fervor to prayer. The soul cannot be listless when some great desire fixes it and inflames it… Strong desires make strong prayers… the neglect of prayer is the fearful token of dead spiritual desires… there can be no true praying without desire. (E.M Bounds: Man of Prayer)
D is for Desire
1. What is the deepest desire of your heart?
2. What s4rs your passion?
3. What thoughts, visions, or dreams are impossible to put out of your mind?
4. To what can you give 100% of yourself for your whole life?

Hebrews 11 13 All these people were s(ll living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admilng that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had leg, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a beYer country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.
