DORM HALLS: You will be assigned to Village 1 or 3 for your stay. Please reference your

Campus Map. You have already received a separate email letting you know

what dorm and room numbers you have been assigned.

You will be given keys to access the dorms rooms. You will also be given a

gate key. Please make sure that your cheerleaders put these in a safe place

and DO NOT lose them. There is a $45.00 fee for lost, stolen, replacement

keys. Since your campers will always be with an adult they really don’t need

to each have one unless they lock their bedroom door. This will be less work

collecting them all later.

THERE WILL BE ROOM INSPECTIONS BEFORE AND AFTER CAMP, YOU WILL

BE BILLED FOR ANY DAMAGE OCCURING DURING YOUR STAY! No Gum or

Glitter in the dorms please.

HYDRATE: PLEASE…. Talk to you campers about the importance of

hydration. It will be very warm this weekend. You can bring a

big ice chest of water for your team and the snack bar will be

selling for $1.

CAMP LOCATION: Camp will start in the Gym (15) each day. However, throughout camp we’ll

be breaking out into different classes. Some WILL be outside in the grassy

area and a few will be inside. The SRC is an air conditioned space that we are

allowed use only if we leave them free of water bottles and other garbage.

Please make sure your campers collect all of their bottles when class is over.

Although there are shaded areas outside, make sure you bring your water

bottles and sunscreen with you from your dorms rooms both days of camp.

DINING HALL HOURS: All overnight campers and coaches will be dining in the Main Cafeteria (12).

The times listed below are the hours that the cafeteria will be open for

overnight coaches, and cheerleaders.

CHECK-OUT: Check out for overnight campers will be Sunday, August 2nd before camp

starts. Please load cars before camp Sunday morning. Coaches: you must

check-out with JAMZ Staff at Spirit Sales and turn in your keys. Please do not

add gate keys to the room keys… it gets confusing and we can’t tell the

difference.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The University has a no tolerance policy on pushing the emergency

call boxes located all around campus. If one is pushed and they find

out who it was (video monitored) they will be asked to leave the

campus. The call boxes go right to 911 operator so the police will

Curfew is at 10pm. JAMZ staff will be doing rounds until midnight to

make sure all campers are in their rooms. If anyone is caught

wandering around after hours, we will call the team contact person

given to us at coach check in.

Pools are jump free zones :( Campers may only walk into the pool

and no stunting of any kind is allowed.

Water only in the gym. No strollers, candy, gum, Gatorade or any

food. Have your campers write their name on the lid of the water

bottle then when bottle is empty KEEP the cap, and get a new bottle

and add the cap with the name. We do this at JAMZ and we save a

lot of water from being thrown out this way.

Please let the parents know the gym for the parent show will be

VERY hot and crowded. We will try to get through it all as quickly as

possible but the heat it does get a little uncomfortable :) NEXT YEAR

they will be installing air conditioning in the gym!!
