Celebrate @ Manor Lakes was held on Friday 25th May from 3pm—8pm. The event was a celebration to mark the completion of construction works at the centre and was Wyndham City’s free annual Youth Festival which was a family—friendly, Community Centre Open Night. The event included amusement rides like the Cha Cha, Dunk Tank, Giant Drop Slide and a Jumping Castle for the little ones. There was a live music stage and for the younger and young at heart there were lots of activities from face painting, henna, craft, painting, and story times for both children and adults. The newly built youth space was open for all to see and hear about the activities and programs that are accessible for the communities youth. Additional services that are now available at Manor Lakes Community Learning Centre are Town Planning, Building Approvals and Economic Growth. Staff from these departments were also present at the event to answer residents enquiries regarding renovations, planning and business. We want to thank all residents and users of the centre throughout the renovations for their patience. The event was a huge success with over 2,000 people attending.

Manor Lakes Community Learning Centre The first Twilight Market of 2018 was held on Saturday 5th May from 5—9pm, the market was a huge success
with an estimated 800 people in attendance. The weather was perfect for the market with guests enjoying the
outdoor seating along with the variety of food options available. Inside the community centre there was over
twenty stall holders who had everything from makeup, jewelery, soaps, books and lots more. Live music kept
guests entertained throughout the night along with face painting and activities for the little ones. Due to the
popularity of the market there will be an additional two throughout the year. Upcoming Markets will be
Saturday 6th October 5—9pm and Saturday 1st December 5—9pm. A big thankyou to Michelle Harvey who is a
local resident and works tirelessly market after market to put this fantastic night on for the community, the
