The DHR400 can pair to our 18Vx2 Brushless AWS DustExtraction Vacuum (DVC864L) thanks to the new Auto-StartWireless System.

This feature enables automatic start up of the vacuumwhen the trigger is pulled on the tool for on demand dustextraction.

The DVC864L will also run for several seconds after thetrigger has been released to pull any remaining materialcompletely through the hose.

1. Turn the DVC864L power dial to “AUTO.”

2. Press and hold the button on the DHR400 for 3 seconds until the light flashes Green.

3. Press and hold the button on the DVC864L for 3 seconds until the light flashes Green.

4. Lights will turn to flashing Blue when the two units are paired.

Frequently Asked Questions

Installing SDS Max Bits?Before installing the SDS Max bit you should ensure the shank is clean and apply grease into the

grooves on the shank. Insert the bit into the tool, turn the bit and push until it engages. If the bit

cannot be pushed in, remove the bit. Pull the release cover down a couple of times and then re-

insert the bit, turning and pushing until it engages. After installing the bit, ensure that it is securely

held into place by trying to pull it out.
