Our Year 1 News Letter

This week, year 1 had a lot of fun reading poems, finding the rhyming words and discussing what the poet

was telling us. Pupils wrote two poems copying from the pack and not from the board for the first time.

We ended the lessons this week by pupils creating their own poem using magic rhyming words from the

board.

Congratulations to all pupils in year one for their huge effort and spectacular progress this year.

THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING……….. YOU’RE GOING TO BE AMAZED BY WHAT OUR PUPILS WILL BE ABLE TO
