What if you could partner alongside and advise a Georgia Tech Biomedical Engineering (BME) team to investigate and develop a solution for that idea in just 16 weeks? You can! BME Capstone is currently seeking project proposals for the Spring 2020 semester. During GT BME Capstone, each Capstone team works over 500 man-hours per project to develop solutions that address unmet clinical needs. New this year: Our students will receive credentialing access for performing clinical observations and Voice of the Customer activities at Emory Healthcare and Grady Healthcare through our STAT Credentialing Program. Project topic proposals come from many different healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, emergency technicians, biomedical industry members, and academic researchers. In the past semester, our program had: 1 team continue development as a startup company > 10 provisional patent applications filed 2 products currently introduced in the marketplace If you have identified a health-care challenge that needs to be solved, Capstone teams are eager to work on it. We look forward to working with you all this Spring! Submit projects by Monday, December 9, 2019 or contact New Partnerships Liaison Kyle Cowdrick, MSE for more information. What is BME Capstone?
