Fundraising Update
3 Rivers Tournament
Team Updates
This will be a very exciting week kicking off with the
High School team playing rival Cascade Monday
night! In this week's edition of The Peak, we will
review what's coming up this weekend and continue
with more details about our current fundraiser with
Cedar Grove plus lots more info!
Bring a Friend Day is this Saturday, 4/21!Youth players should have all received a postcard
they can hand out to friends and neighbors as an
invitation to this event. If you don't have one, or
need more, please let your team parent know.
The plan is to have friends attend your regular
game, and then meet after for a fun shoot-around
so friends can get a feel for the game.
Let's make this first annual event a great success
and share the excitement of lacrosse with others in
the community!

UPCOMING EVENTS
K-2 boys showed great enthusiasm while
playing in the rain, I didn’t hear one
complaint! We had a tough match up
against a strong Edmonds team but I’m
told, from several of the boys that we were
victorious. We also had two first time goal
scorers this weekend! Great job boys.
The 3/4 team had a rough go on Saturday
against a very good Skagit team. The
energy level was a little low (and we were
VERY wet!) and never found our groove.
Skagit played a great game and gave a
good lesson in passing. We ended up down
13-5, but our boys will bounce back now
and work on passing and catching. The
team is growing together, bettering their
skills, & will come back strong next week!

Our 5/6 boys came alive in the 2nd half of
their game against Skagit Valley this
weekend and finished with a
commanding 11-1 victory. Our hard work
on the defense showed up in a big way,
only allowing a single, man-down goal.
Our 2 goalies combined for 12 saves and
the defense only allowed a handful of
shots-on-goal! Good job!!!
Cedar Grove FundraiserOur fundraising efforts are well under way with
online orders starting to come in! Remember, each

...Team Updates Cont
GP 7/8 played a double header at Glacier
Peak on "Monsoon Saturday". Our first
game against Snohomish White was a 15-
1 victory with 8 different GP goal scorers,
including 2 first-timers! The second
game vs Edmonds was a tight one into
the 3rd quarter until the boys pulled
away and finished with a 11-5 win. Hats
off to all the boys who played through
miserable conditions and tired legs. We
now stand 5-1-1 on the season
High school highlights from the past
week:
ZERO penalties! I can’t begin to tell you
how powerful this is! As a coach this
means the world to us, besides not
giving the opponent an extra man
opportunity, it means we are playing
disciplined defense!
Our Zulu zone continues to thwart and
confuse the opposition. They are
basically forced to shoot from outside
13-14 yards
The offense broke a team record of 20
goals.
We have a home game Monday against
rival Cascade at 8 pm. Bring friends,
family neighbors and anyone you can
think of and don’t forget the
“Allez…Allez, Allez!"
