Stainless steel excelling in corrosion resistanceand mechanical strength is the most suitablematerial for bolt, not, tapping screw, machinescrew and wood screw etc.In order to eliminate troubles particularly in cold-heading process to obtain good-shaped thread, it isessential to select material of best quality andperform the process under the most adequatecondition.

The most suitable type of steel should be selected in accordance with the shape of screw as well asthe purpose of use.Type 410, 430 and 434 contain only chromium and are easy to cold head. They are used for coldheading screws to which corrosion resistance is not so important factor.Since Type 410 can be increased in its hardness by heat treatment after having been mode into finalproducts, it is most suitably used for tapping screws. For hardening, carbon content should be at least 0.08% or more.Austenitic stainless steel contains chromium and nickel, although excellent in corrosion resistance, has a marked work hardening characteristic.

Stainless steel wire for springs should meet the following conditions :First-class surfaceHigh corrosion resistanceExcellent heat resistanceSuperior coiling efficiencyHigh fatigue strength.Stainless Steel Wire for springs is made from the selected steel listed in the table and completely satisfiesthe above conditions. In particular, to provide optimum spring efficiency, this type of wire is painstakingly fished to eliminateflaws which reduce fatigue strength, i.e. lateral and longitudinal cracks, pits, and marks. The hard type ofwire ideal for currently popular automatic high-speed spring coiling machines is available with a coating ofresin as a lubricant for coiling. The mechanical properties of Stainless Steel Wire for sprig are based on our own standard according toAMS 5688C.

The quality of the stainless steel wire rope is determined to the greatest extent by its material wire. Wemanufacture the rope wires form the special grades of the stainless steel having special chemicalcompositions to withstand fatigue and wear under the most severe operating conditions. The rope wires are drawn precisely through diamond dies and the surface of them is bright and shiny.Type 302/304 is the most suitable grade of stainless steel for rope wire with regard to the mechanicalstrength, fatigue and wear resistance. For those kinds of rope that should have a non-magnetic property orparticularly high resistance to corrosion, type 316 is recommended.

Generally speaking, it is far more difficult to machine stainless steels than ordinary steels. This is especiallyso with austenitic stainless steel containing nickel and chromium.Free-cutting wires are made of special grades of stainless steel which have improved machinability and yetretain high resistance to corrosion.

For specific work requirements, free-cutting wire of stainless must be selected taking such factors intoconsideration as fatigue, usage, strength, corrosion resistance, impact resistance etc.

Sulphur (S) is added by about 0.15 to 0.35% to improve machinability.

Bright annealed weaving wires have beautiful lustrous surfaces and highresistance to corrosion whichcombine to account for their profit-yielding market values. They are available in a wide range of diamter sizesfrom extra-large to extra-fine diameters.Stainless steel wire netting have increasing applications in the chemical, petroleum, synthetic fiber, andpaper and pulp industries. They are also used as conveyer belts operating in high-temperature environment.Due consideration has to be given to the chemical composition when selecting the most suitable grade forany set of conditions.

Type 304 and 316 wires are most commonly used generally in the production of wire mesh. Among otheravailable grades are the followings.

-Type 304L, 316L, 317L Resistance to intergranular corrosion is improved by reducing the carbon content.-Type 321,347 Resistance to intergranular corrosion is improved by adding titanium, niobium.

Weaving wires are supplied in bright annealed condition so that they can easily be woven into net products. If necessary, elastic strength is increased by raising their proof stress.

For stainless steel wire for fruit garden, Type 304( standard product ) or Type 316 ( high classproduct ) is used, which can withstand highlycorrosive pesticides and rust formation. You can avoid the troublesome work ofreplacement, enjoy the long service life. It isfavorably received among the fruit tree growers.

There are various types of stainless steel, each having its own characteristics and usages for a wide rangeof applications. It is important to select the most suitable materials for use.Our stainless steel welding wires are produced under carefully controlled quality standards.
