Even though no single global standard for clean air exists, there are many different definitions of

clean air. The air quality outdoors varies depending on emissions from industries nearby, traffic

exhaust and local regulation. Indoors, the air can be two to five times more polluted than the air

outside according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Studies show that breathing

clean air can contribute to your health and well-being. Blue air purifier conducted a workshop for

2. VALUE EDUCATION IN SCHOOL:

On 13.7.18 a Workshop on VALUE EDUCATION was conducted for teachers. Values are the

priorities individuals and societies attach to certain beliefs, experiences, and objects, in deciding

how they shall live and what they shall treasure. Issues and challenges in inculcating values among

students were discussed. Teaching domains that were identified to inculcate values were cognitive,

affective and dispositional. The Teacher's task is to enhance capacities and teachers hope is to

encourage commitments. The Critical points focused were to know nature and sources of values,

Need to develop empathy, evaluative skills and be encouraged to commit to worthy values. Values

are permeated and hidden in the curriculum and we need to focus on these values in each and every

learning area was reiterated by the resource person C. L. Madhuri.

“The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge.”

about this serious problem of bullying so that they themselves can make a difference by presenting

strategies that are clear, relevant, and comprehensible to both the teachers and students, thus

creating an environment where students feel safe. This can be done by teachers reporting bullying,

and knowing that they will be protected from retaliation by maintaining confidentiality whenever

possible. By increasing the amount of time students are supervised at recess, lunch breaks, and

class changes. It also requires teachers to consistently enforce the rules and apply age-appropriate

penalties, if the rules are to have any meaning. Teachers should be provided with effective

classroom management training including working with students with special needs. This will

remove any excuse that new students might have for bullying other students. It also stresses the

importance the school places on counteracting bullying.
