Real AdvertMy AdvertSimilarities

The logo used.The slogan used.Both simple adverts.The colours of both are similar, the red used in the advert, and the backgrounds are similar colours.Both have the drink as the main focus of the advert.The mood of the adverts are similar, both use a refreshing drink to draw in the audience.Just an image of Coca-Cola in a glass.Smaller logo.Smaller text for the slogan.Not much in the background of the advert.Someone actually drinking the Coca-Cola instead of it just by itself.Larger logo.Larger text for the slogan.Background is of the sky on what looks like a warm day, which can show that the drink is refreshing.

Simple advert, meaning there isnt too much on the advert, which can make it look messy.The background goes well in the advert, as it shows what looks like a warm day, which could show that the drink is refreshing.The advert includes the slogan and the logo, making the advert easily recognisable as a Coca-Cola advert.Weaknesses

The advert may be too simple, meaning theres not enough information on the advert, as well as not being as much promotional material on it as well.The font used for the slogan is a bit simple, and may not be similar to any used in previous Coca-Cola adverts.

Changes I Would Make

Firstly I would change the slogans text, I would change it to a font which could be more recognisable as a Coca-Cola advert.I would also try and add more to the advert, meaning there could be more promotional material.

Radio ProductionAdvantages of working in this medium - Can be produced quickly, as no video is needed. - Easily can reach a large group of people.Disadvantages of working in this medium - Not all products are suitable for radio adverts. - Most people change radio channels when adverts come on.

What makes working in this medium better/worse than the other mediums we are exploring?6

Radio Production

Real Coca-Cola Advert

My Coca-Cola AdvertMy advert differs from the real advert in multiple ways. The first way is that my advert has a different theme to it, this real advert has the theme of a guy getting rid of his thirst through drinking Coca-Cola, where as mine has the theme of a night club setting, with people in the background as well as music, with someone drinking Coca-Cola in this environment. Also my advert uses a different song to this, mine uses Taste The Feeling, as this is a Coca-Cola produced song, where as the real advert doesnt really have a constant song throughout, as it plays different sound effects and music during the advert. As well as this the slogan of Coca-Cola changed from the time of the real advert to mine, therefore my advert includes a different and more up to date slogan.

There are also similarities between my advert and this advert, this includes using the refreshing sound you make after drinking Coca-Cola, as well as the noise of the bottle opening and the drink fizzing up.

Radio ProductionA strength of the product I made would be the sound effects we used, these were all good sound effects, and they were all created for this advert, making them original. As well as this the way I have used the audition app for certain parts of the advert are good, for example changing the volume of the clips so that they are louder at points when they need to be, an example of this is the song, taste the feeling, becoming louder after the Coca-Cola bottle had been opened as it then became the main focus of the advert.

Weaknesses of this advert could be that none of the clips have been edited much from the original that they were, theyre pretty much the same as they were when we recorded them.
