Finished my 04-05 Front End Conversion + HID install today...
And I'm freakin' stoked!!!
Been waiting to do this since November of 2006 when I got in my first accident. Recently got rear ended lightlyand used that money to buy a new 04-05 rear bumper, and the 04-05 front end parts. A few notes on theconversion for those interested, since I did keep the stock 01-03 Radiator support.
- The fenders are a direct bolt up to the car. No problems.- 04-05 Hood fits the 01-03 hood hinges just fine- The bumper fits the top and bottom clip points perfectly.
- The Headlights are a 75% fit. They fit the bottom hole next to the radiator & the top bolt. However they donot fit the side that bolts against the fender. - To fit the headlights, You will need to modify the 01-03 rad support. The bottom part of the housing underthe lowbeam hits against the metal. You can either hit it with a hammer to push it back around an inch like idid, or cut a slit and bend a small secion back.-You will need to relocate the fender bolt that is next to the top tab. There is no exception to this. The 04-05Headlight tab is in a direct path of the 01-03 support. What I recommend is buying the L&R Bulkheads and thetabs that support the fender from hondaautomotiveparts.com. Here's the diagram from their site

Parts 11 & 15 are what have to be pounded/cut to fit the 04-05 headlights. 14&17 are the tabs that have to berelocated on 01-03 cars no matter what.
And now onto pics (Bear in mind this is unpainted...because I want to do a full reshoot of Inca Pearl on thecar.)
