CHOREOGRAPHERS’ SHOWCASE November 19–20, 2010, 8:00pm

Performing Arts Center Designed to feature student

choreography, the Showcase is held at the end the fall semester. These

performances provide students with a creative outlet to show their work.

VALENCIA SPRING DANCE CONCERT

March 25–26, 2011, 8:00pm Performing Arts Center

In partnership with Rollins College, this concert highlights guest artist

and faculty works and dancers from both institutions.

SUMMER REPERTORY CONCERT July 15–16, 2011, 8:00pm Performing Arts Center

The Summer Repertory Concert provides a unique summer

performance opportunity for Valencia dance students and for the Valencia Summer Dance Institute - our free summer dance program for high

school students. The concert includes faculty and guest artist choreography,

as well as guest artist performers.

16TH ANNUAL FILM CELEBRATION

February 4–5, 2011, 7:30pm Performing Arts Center

Come enjoy shorts and feature

films made by students in Valencia’s nationally recognized film program. It has been called “One of the Best Film Schools in the Country” by none other

than Steven Spielberg.

Previously screened films from Valencia’s Film Production Program

have included such big name writers, directors, and stars as Ruby Dee,

Julie Harris, Sally Kellerman, Jonathan Krane, Joe DiMaggio, Ed Begley, Jr.,

Tyne Daly, George A. Romero, Mickey Rooney, Talia Shire and, five-time Oscar Award-Winner

Robert Wise. And two of the creators of The Blair Witch Project are Valencia graduates: producer Gregg Hale and

production designer Ben Rock.

Be a part of this celebration of film, help support an art medium unlike any other and quite possibly see a

rising star in the making.
