ceramic coatings to a whole new level by coating both the outside and inside of our head

pipes; this reduces the the temperature by several hundred degrees, resulting in a

significant reduction in the amount of heat that is transmitted to the rider.

RUSH was the first in the industry to offer interchangeable baffles designed for specific

performance and sound levels. This feature is huge for the motorcycle owner because it

allows them to change the sound and performance without purchasing another new set of

mufflers. We have taken this philosophy into the production of our full systems allowing

for interchangeable baffles here as well.

Touring Series ‘86-‘94 FLH/FLT Models

To install any 21 Series Rush muffler on 1986-1994 Harley-Davidson touring models a simple modification must be made to the factory head

pipes. The factory head pipes utilize a flange fit with a copper washer, these parts will not be used when installing RUSH mufflers. The flange

area must be cut from the head pipe as close to the outlet as possible. It will then be possible to fit the RUSH muffler onto the system along with

a 95-later style exhaust clamp. Note: 21 series feature longer inlet tubes than the ‘95-present models so they do not interchange.

These torque cones create a venturi from the back pressure. The back pressure is increased at low speeds

resulting in increased low RPM power and torque. At high speeds it increases exhaust velocity, which draws

the gases down from the exhaust ports more rapidly, allowing your engine to perform more efficiently.
