I am 23 years old, I like shopping, reading, walking. I love

spending time with friends and family. I also have a Dogue

de Bordeauxwhom I LOVE more than most humans :)

I graduated in 2010 from St. Francis XavierUniversity with an Advanced Major in

Environmental Sciences. I will be graduating again from

St. FX with a Diploma in Engineering this coming May. I

plan on attending Dal for my P.Eng in Environmental

Engineering!

I was the youth intern coordinator this summer!

I got to travel to the C@P Sites all summer and take partand help out with all the events! It was awesome summer

full of events and activities for the publicI decided to

make this scrapbook for everyone to remember how great

this summer was!

I first got involved with C@P in 2001 as a volunteer for the GoshenC@P Site. In 2005, I joined the Guysborough County Community

Access Network (GCCAN) as a Director and held numerous

positions including Chair for two years. In 2009, I accepted the

position of Regional Coordinator for GCCAN. I enjoy working on

the numerous year round projects and especially enjoy working with

the six stand alone C@P Sites in Guysborough County. For the pastten years I have been a municipal councillor representing Goshen

and Area for the Municipality of the District of St. Marys. This

along with my regional coordinator position keeps me busy but I

still get some free time to enjoy a few hobbies. Living in Goshen, I

am very active in community events, volunteer work and assisting

seniors. I enjoy swimming, boating, 4wheeling, playing cards,

solving puzzles and reading. I love and cherish family time and myfavourite hobby is cooking meals and preserving jams and pickles.

I have enjoyed working with the C@P Sites and Interns over the

summer and I am looking forward to another successful year with

GCCAN.

Im 18 years old. I live in a small community that not

many people can find called New Harbour. I like just

about any activity outside I spend as much time out

on the boats as I can and many evenings sitting

around a fire pit with my family.

I graduated from Guysborough Academy in June

2011. This Fall I will be attending the Pictou Nova

Scotia Community College for Electro Mechanical

Technician.

For the past two summers I have worked at a C@P

site, while doing this job I met more people aroundthe community, know more on the events around

here and Ive learned how to make calendars this

summer.

Hello, My name is Duncan Alexander William DouglasSangster ( Yeah 3 middle names) . I come from NewHarbour in Guysborough County. I graduated highschool this past June from Guysborough Academy,and will be moving to Halifax soon to attend TheCentre for Arts and Technology. I'm a huge fan ofanything classic rock, even blues for that matter. I lovevintage motorcycles and I'm also enjoy computers andany technology.Working at the C@P site was a great job, I got to helpmany people with little problems and make their livesthat much easier!

My name is Ryan Alan Hudson. Im from Eight Island Lake,which is right next to Goshen. I live right next to a lake, whichis awesome. I was born June, 4

th, 1995. Im generally a laid

back person. Ive been playing guitar for about 3 years now,Im still not great but Im getting there. Im a major metal fan.

My favourite band is Machinae Supremacy. I am also intodrawing and kayaking. I also play badminton a lot. I have abrother, who I get into a lot of fights with. Not over anything,we just like fighting. He also plays guitar (Im better). Icurrently go to school at St. Marys Academy, the blandestschool in the Maritimes. Once I get out, I am going to Collegeof the North Atlantic in Newfoundland for a carpentry course.

That is, unless I change my mind again, like I do every fewmonths!I really liked working with C@P because I made my summer alot less boring. I got to meet a few people I didnt know, helpout with community events and save up some money for mynew guitar.

I am 18 years old, my birthday is September 18. I canbe really shy at times, although it may not seem like itbecause I love to pretend that I`m not! I am currentlyattending St. Francis Xavier University and I haven`tmade up my mind what I plan to major in, but it might

be Political Science or Sociology. I have 2 wonderfuldogs that I love, although I can never figure out whatbreed they are, but they look like chocolate labs. Iloooove to eat and one more thing, I day dream a lot,not anything in particular, but I day dream a lot. I havea lot of likes and dislikes but one thing I can say is onething I can say is that I love my life, my family, my

friends, my employers, my co- workers etc. on gooddays and bad days.

This is a great summer job as well as a greatexperience to learn management skills and alsopractice organizing different events.

My name is Tosha Lucas, I am 17 years old and I live Sunnyville. I

attend school at Guysborough Academy and will be entering the 12th

grade in the upcoming school year! I love the color PURPLE!! I LOVE

sports!! Especially BASKETBALL, but I also play soccer and baseball.

I was elected Student Council Vice President for the upcoming school

year. I'm big into dance!! I can jerk, dougie, cat daddy, moon walk,stanky leg, krump ... I can do it all. I'm known for speaking my mind

and having the most awesome shoes!!

Working at the Sunnyville C@P Site is very rewarding! I love being

able to interact and assist others. Its great working in your own

community, at a place where everyone is welcome to come to get help

with technology while enjoying themselves. Working here has

definitely increased my communication and time management skills,

which will help me in succeeding future excellence. Having this job has

been a great experience!
