Faculty of Engineering 1.0 INTRODUCTION 1.1 Background Humans have developed many specialized methods to enhance the technology of automotive security system. In simple words vehicle security system. We have been gone through the ages of this technology b ut still there are many problems that shoul d be rectified to improve our vehi cle security sys tem. for launde ring, rang ing from the earliest "pound clothes against rocks in running stream" to the latest in electronic washing machines and dry cleaning (dissolving dirt in solvents other than water). All these methods apply even today in the modern world in rural as well in urban areas. Residents staying at terrace or bungalow houses dry their clothes at ease without worrying. What does matters is the way residents staying flats dry heir clothes today. As we all know, flats have an inadequate amount of space to dry the clothes. Most people would opt for the balcony which in general has limited space up to 5 feet only. In this narrow space, most would use a clothes line fixed on the wall outside their balcony or even use the drying rack if there is space to do so. This causes a place to be congested and also a sore to the eye for people passing by the flats. It also will bring down the grade of the flats. Our group of members conducted an investigation about this study and came up with a retractable clothes hanger system which operates by a motor. A water sensor is fixed on the balcony and when it detects raindrop, it will bring the clothes in automatically.
