Part of his platform is the the plight of small businesses and hopes to push for reforms to make it easier for micro-enterprises to exist and thrive in the market.

Among his priorities are jobs and youth. 

He called on government agencies to work together to make it easier for entrepreneurs to do business in the country.

He will push for schools-to-jobs matching programs in order to prepare fresh graduates for the workplace and boost overall employment.

His platform also goes beyond merely improving the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino program, but is really focused on generating jobs, matching the curriculum with the needs of industries, and making it easier to do business in the Philippines in order to support our micro-enterprises and generate even more jobs and livelihood for the economy.

The core of his platform is based on the "MAKABAYAN’s 10-Point Agenda" which promotes nationalism, democracy, and the rights and welfare of the people which aims to fight for every individual's right to live decently through affordable means and quality governance through accountability.

He also is an advocate for empowering the people as key in changing governance and society, fighting for an honest and excellent public service; developing a so-called "pro-Filipino economy"; prioritize giving adequate work and decent wages to the workers, free land and subsidy to the farmers, provide food security, as well as greater access to social services such as education, health, housing, utilities and other needs; protecting the environment; addressing the problem of climate change; and developing the use of clean and renewable energy.

He also aspires to build new foreign relations based on respect for national sovereignty and mutual benefit; defend democratic and human rights by putting a stop to the political repression of activists, journalists and critics of government; uphold the right to self-determination of the BangsaMoro and indigenous peoples'; promote nationalist, patriotic, pro-people, pro-environment, scientific, and progressive education and culture; uphold women’s rights and gender equality; and, advance the peace negotiations and the implementation of agreements between the government and the National Democratic Front and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.

His campaign centralizes on his vision to see Filipinos engage more in preparing their own food and feeding themselves as opposed to commercialization and reliance on imported goods through food sovereignty. His "Food for Filipinos First’" bill is currently aiming to engage provinces to ensure that they are providing enough food for the population by identifying the major food sources that can be grown locally. Majority of the said bill focuses on ensuring the nation that it can be self-sustaining in both food and water. According to him, “If we want to achieve food security and sovereignty, we must adopt a rationalized food master plan which will help ensure a steady and affordable supply of food,”.

Other platforms he is pursuing are the kasambahay bill, credit card reform, anti-monopoly and charter change.He strongly favors the amendments of certain provisions in our constitution particularly those that directly impact our agricultural sector.

In addressing the needs in the field of health care, he aims to provide free health care and services, including hospitalization, in government hospitals and health facilities by amending the Universal Health Care Act, oppose privatization of government hospitals, strengthen government hospitals’ services including free medicines to patients and upgrade government health centers and facilities.

He also seeks to answer the needs in our education system by providing free breakfast and lunch for public

elementary and high school students, strengthen linkages between government agencies and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Research and Development, upgrade the salary grade of Teachers’ entry level from SG 10 to 18, establish special education centers for special students in every DepEd school division through the enactment of Special Education Act and enact Magna Carta for Students

As for the problems in environment, he will push for the enactment of the National Land Use Act (NaLUA) and the Forest Preservation and Rehabilitation Act, “Araw ng Kalikasan” for tree-planting and other environmental activities, and Magna Carta for Environment and Natural Resources Personnel Act (to protect and give benefits to environmental workers); establish more Protected Areas, strengthen the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management capability of all LGUs and monitor strictly the implementation of the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Solid Waste Management Act

With regards to peace and development, he proposes to enact the enabling law on the Framework Agreement on the proposed Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, implement the Mindanao Railway System, strengthen the cooperative sector and amend the Consumer Protection Law to enhance consumer protection

Lastly, in response to food security, his goal is to establish “food corridor” and agricultural centers in every region, focus government funding in the said areas, enact the Agricultural and Fisheries Mechanization Act, re-nationalize the municipal agricultural officers and increase the real property tax on idle private agricultural lands.
