March 31-April 2, 2014-Asia’s leading cleaning industry expo-China Clean Expo 2014 was successfully held in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. After more than ten years of accumulation and growth, the scale of China Clean Expo expand continually and the quality improved. Now, it is not only the largest professional cleaning expo in China, but also famous around the world. It can be said that China Clean Expo has a great impact on the whole cleaning industry. The event showcased a wide range of products from personal cleaning, commercial cleaning, industry cleaning, public cleaning, municipal cleaning, home care and etc., which attracted lots of international and domestic leading cleaning enterprises participate.

Air Purification Show Jointly organizer: Shanghai Indoor Contamination Control Industry Association

Shanghai International Indoor Environment Quality Show 2014 can be described as the most growth show in the expo, which gathered a number of foreign and domestic enterprises participate.

With the increasing concern of air purification, the theme forum about IAQ was held for the first time in this exhibition.

China Environmental Protection Industry Show 2014 is another major industrial event held in CCE. This event get support from Shanghai Environmental Protection Industry Association, it mainly focused on the recent environmental problems, such as the waste oil treatment, solid waste disposal, food waste treatment and etc..

AS the leading cleaning show in Asia, China Clean Expo has been

successfully held for 12 years. Giving a review of the development process of the past years, every progress was derived from the accurate grasp of the trend and the pursuit of innovation, which made the expo got a huge impact in the industry and a successful conclusion.

Survey & Analysis

This year, the total exhibition area of CCE is over 33,000 square meter, which increased 21.2%. The exhibition gathered 283 domestic exhibitors and 48 overseas exhibitors. Comparing with last year, there is a substantial increase in the number of overseas exhibitors. A total of 11,773 visitors from more than 70 countries and regions, such as Russia, Australia, Germany, Italy, the U.S., South Korea, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, came to attend the expo. The number of visitors increased 12.3% compared to last year. Over 50% of visitors were first-time attendees, and 84% of visitors were satisfied with the CCE. Meanwhile, 96% of visitors indicated their intention to visit CCE next year.

Overseas visitors mainly came from Asia-Pacific Area, which accounted 38%. Meanwhile, European economic problems did not influence its purchasing power in China, 25% of visitors came from Europe. In addition, the number of Oceania (Australia and New Zealand) audiences have a significant growth, which reached to 21%. The increase of overseas audiences indicated that the future of China cleaning market is still bright.

In this year, the visitors mainly came from 29 cities in China. A big part of visitors came from Zhejiang, Shanghai and Jiangsu. 52% of visitors came from east and central of China which was the largest part of audiences. Apart from that, 14% of the visitors who came from west of China as last year. The number of visitors who came from North showed an increase in this year, which rose to 21%. Besides, 84% of total audiences were satisfied with the exhibition.

In the visitor category, the percentage of distributor had increased significantly, which reached to 36%. The industrial companies rose to 7%, and most of them were catering and food enterprises. Additionally, the new environmental protection exhibition attracted a large amount of audiences from the public and sanitation companies.

“ In 2014 CCE, the exhibitors have divided into 13 categories according to their products. Comparing with last year, there were some new exhibitor categories in this year, which were lift platform(3%), environmental protection (2%), and High pressure washers and high pressure pumps (10%). Apart from that, the percentage of indoor environment (9%) and laundry (3%) showed an increase trend in this year. It can be seen that China Clean Expo are becoming increasingly professional and sophisticated.

2014 CCE concluded 23 different forums, activities and exhibitions,

which contained every part of cleaning. In this year, the interaction between the exhibitors and visitors is excellent. Apart from that, these events discussed and displayed the newest cleaning techniques which also helped enterprises solve the cleaning problems and improve the production efficiency.

The CCE Award started in 2010, with the aim of rewarding cleaning products and technologies that are innovative, cost-effective, environment-friendly, ergonomic and well recognized and widely accepted in the Chinese market to compliment industry players who made prominent contributions to China's cleaning industry or provided innovative solutions to end-users during the year. As the most influential annual ceremony in the cleaning industry, about 400 people who came from industry associations, well-known companies attended the grand ceremony in this year. At the same time, over 40 famous media gave a tracking report for the ceremony.
