Support Resistance
Price level or area where the concentration of demand can be found; level where the price
may bounce.
Price level or area where the concentration of supply can be found; level where the price may
halt and then fall after.
Uptrend Line Downtrend Line
Upward sloping support line. Where price usually bounce off.
Downward sloping resistance line. Where price
usually bumps before falling.
Breakout Breakdown
A successful move above a significant resistance level; a quick upward thrust is
expected to follow after.
A successful move below a significant support; a quick downward movement is expected to follow
after.
RSI & Stochastics MACD
Indicators used to determine overbought and oversold conditions and the momentum of a
security.
A trend following momentum indicator. Used to
determine when the trend is weakening.
Overbought Oversold
RSI score above 70; Stochastics score above 80; may signal potential weakness in the near
term.
RSI score below 30; Stochastics score below 20; may signal potential strength in the near term.
