WELCOMEWhen MittenBrew was founded in 2011, we had one goal — to cover all that Michigan had to offer in terms of craft beer. Profiles, reviews and event coverage were quickly developed, paired with attractive imagery and video.

Fast-forward to 2015, and we have grown our goal immensely. While we still cover Michigan breweries, we have added distilleries, meaderies, hard cider makers, bottle shops, beer bars and more to our repertoire.

We’ve been able to team up with some of the best breweries in the state, releasing an annual collaborative beer at festivals and beer bars throughout the state of Michigan. We have a comprehensive and still-growing locator, so readers can get all the details on their favorite brewery. And we’ve developed a podcast that has gained a steady following that we’ll continue to grow into the new year.

Our staff of over 25 includes some of the best writers and photographers in the state. We emphasize quantity over quality in everything we do, making sure we cover everything as best as we possibly can.
