Clarion PXW SubwoofersPXW Series subwoofers were designed to handle massive amounts of power and produce mirror-rattling, ground-shaking bass from even modest sized enclosures. The custom cast-aluminum chassis allows for a thick top plate and extended yoke assembly. This means PXW subwoofers offer huge amounts of excursion while remaining tight and controlled. The cast-aluminum chassis also ensures that the cone and motor assembly stay in perfect alignment.

Black anodized aluminum voice coil formers and a 4-layer copper voice coil windings ensure that thermal power handling is easily managed.

PXW Series subwoofers are available in dual 2- and 4-Ohm voice coil configurations in both 10 and 12-inch sizes.

SPIDER EXHAUST TECHNOLOGY (S.E.T.)Clarion subwoofers feature SET cooling to allow voice coil heat to escape from the area beneath the spider. This improves overall speaker linearity, efficiency and reduces power compression for linear sound at all volume levels. The PXW subwoofer allows hot air to escape through the spokes of the basket. These spokes extend to below the spider mounting plateau, providing ventilation and cooling.

AM/FM and Weather Band tuners are built in, and with a wide variety of external audio connections are available - including Bluetooth, USB, iPod and auxiliary input jacks. These allow you to easily create a system that’s customized to your exact needs.

The separate control units dramatically expand installation options. Either unit can be mounted on a small flat surface, meaning they are a perfect solution for small boats, motorcycles, ATV’s, side-by-sides, custom cars and hot rods, or just about any application you can dream of!
