2015 RULES & REGULATIONS
General Teams will perform on a 42’ x 54’ spring floor. All elements (tumbling, stunts, etc.) are restricted to the
matted area.
Please designate a coach or responsible adult to remain at the DJ table throughout your team’s
performances to assist with squad music. All squads are responsible for their own music. Please bring a
back-up CD.
Please carefully check your team’s registration/division placement when you receive your confirmation
packet. Please notify us immediately if you are not in the proper division. Six Flags is not responsible for
the teams placed by their coach in the wrong division.
Warmup is 4 minutes on a spring strip and 4 minutes on a 7 panel dead mat. If you miss your time you
cannot practice.
Timing Elementary, Junior High and High School Squads are restricted to 3 minutes.
Recreation and Parish teams are restricted to 3 minutes.
All-Star teams are restricted to 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
In the event of injury or interruption of routine, your squad has the option of performing again at a later
time in the competition or finishing your routine.
There is a 10 point penalty for any rule or time infraction.
Music Please provide a CD with your music and a second CD for backup.
Label CD with both the names of the coach and the team.
Digital Music Player (IPod) capabilities are also available.
Complete Rules School teams follow National Federal Guidelines Spirit Rules listed on NFHS.org.
Pee Wee, Youth, Recreation/Parish teams follow rules listed on AACA.org and USASF.net rules up to level
2 or level 4.
ABSOLUTLEY NO BASKET TOSSES ARE PREMITTED.
All-Star teams follow rules listed on USASF.net.
JV, Varsity, Senior Rec teams follow USASF.net rules up to level 2 or level 4.
Legality It is the responsibility of the coach to be familiar with all safety regulations.
Please bring a signed medical and liability release form to the practice area for each participant on
competition day.
Each participant will be matched up to a form and hand stamped.
Anyone without a form will not be permitted to practice or perform

Inclement Weather This competition takes place in an outdoor venue. In the event of threatened inclement weather, final
decision to hold competition will be made by 5pm the day prior to the competition.
In all circumstances please keep all theme park ticket stubs and $10.00 event wristbands
IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED ON Saturday, May 2
o Rain Date is Sunday, May 3, 2015
o Teams will be notified of cancellation by email address listed on the ticket order form - Teams
may also call (732) 928-2000 x2850 and listen to the recorded message
o Unused Six Flags Admission tickets will be valid through June 30, 2015
o Six Flags admission tickets and event wristbands are non-refundable
o Teams unable to compete on May 3 or visit another day by June 30 may choose to use their
tickets to enjoy the theme park on May 2. Six Flags theme park operates rain or shine.
IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED ON BOTH MAY 2 & MAY 3
o Teams will be notified of cancellation by email address listed on the ticket order form - Teams
may also call (732) 928-2000 x2850 and listen to the recorded message
o Unused Six Flags Admission tickets will be valid through June 30, 2015
o Six Flags admission tickets are non-refundable
o $10.00 event wristbands will be automatically refunded
o Teams may choose to use their tickets to enjoy the theme park on May 2 or 3. Six Flags theme
park operates rain or shine.
IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED AFTER 5PM OR MID COMPETITION
o Teams will be notified via; email, and/or announcement at competition. Teams may also call
(732) 928-2000 x2850 and listen to the recorded message
o Unused Six Flags Admission tickets will be valid through June 30, 2015
o Six Flags admission tickets are non-refundable
o Replacement Six Flags admission tickets will be issued to those who are in the theme park at the
time of cancellation. Replacement tickets will be issued at Guest Relations on competition day
only (May 2 or 3, 2015)
o Ticket Stubs MUST be exchanged for replacement ticket(s)
