The 2014 season was the final chapter in the NAIA era of the Embry-Riddle volleyball program. The Blue and Gold closed that book with a 21-10 season, including a 13-1 Sun Conference record. The Eagles also earned their seventh straight regular season con-ference title, their fifth straight conference tournament championship and the program’s fifth consecutive trip to the NAIA National Tournament. With that in mind, the 2015 edition of ERAU volleyball looks to begin a new chapter by building on the success of the previ-ous years, albeit with some changes due to the transi-tion to NCAA II.

As a provisional member of NCAA II and the Sun-shine State Conference, the Eagles are not eligible for regular season championships, postseason play or in-dividual awards in 2015,

“While it’s very disappointing that we can’t be recognized as a team and it’s also really sad that our student-athletes can’t be recognized individually, be-cause they are more than deserving, we still have a lot to play for,” Head Coach Joslynn Gallop said. “Our motivation is to continue the Embry-Riddle tradition that we’ve established - we want to win, we want to be the best, and we want to use these two transitional years to let the Sunshine State Conference know that we’re here and we’re ready to play, not just in 2017, but right now.”

Though the Eagles will not be eligible for postsea-son play due to the transition to NCAA II, Gallop be-lieves this team has the potential to be very successful on the court. “This team is mature, with eight returners that play significant roles,” Gallop stated. “The incom-ing players we have are a good mix of junior transfers that bring experience and really good freshman that come from good programs and have an understanding of the type of work it will take for them to be successful at the collegiate level.”

RETURNERSGallop has the luxury of being able to construct a

lineup consisting of nearly all returners, including four seniors. Three returners were named to the All-Sun Conference team last year, led by Setter of the Year Tamires Ferreira.

Ferreira earned recognition as TSC Setter of the Year for the second consecutive season and was a second team Tachikara-NAIA All-America selection last season. She ranked fourth in the NAIA in service aces with 68 and was 15th in the country in assists/set with 10.47.

“Tamires brings great leadership and a strong de-sire to win,” Gallop remarked. “She makes us better as a whole. I know she’s going to do a great job mentoring the younger players on our team this year.”

Senior Evelina Abdurakhmanova received Tachikara-NAIA All-America Honorable Mention last

season after finishing second on the team in points (365.5), kills (316) and attack percentage (.267). She also ranked third on the club with 61 blocks and had 113 digs and 19 service aces.

“Evelina is super-fit and is really coming into her own here at Embry-Riddle,” Gallop commented. “She’s such an impact player and someone we can rely on, I really wish I had two more years with her.”

Senior Sumerr Paxton was a defensive specialist last season, picking up 158 digs, fourth-most on the team. Paxton also had 23 assists and seven service aces on the season.

“Sumerr will compete for the starting libero posi-tion,” Gallop said. “She’s had a good three years of learning under Hannah Gray, and she’s worked hard and committed herself to get to this point. I look for-ward to seeing what she can do in her senior season.”

Erika Hinel was second team All-Sun Conference selection as a junior a year ago with 196 kills and a .264 hitting percentage. She also led the Eagles with 126 blocks (20 solo) and was 19th in the NAIA with an average of 1.12 blocks/set.

“Erika is a solid middle for us, and she’s been solid for a few years now,” Gallop stated. “She’s a good se-nior leader and a great example of what we want out of our student-athletes both on and off the court as far as work ethic, school and volleyball.”

Caitlyn Ballard played as an outside hitter for much of her first two seasons at Embry-Riddle, but be-gan transitioning to a defensive specialist role late last

SEASON PREVIEW

season. In 2014, Ballard totaled 82 digs, 52 kills, five blocks and three service aces.

“We’ve found the right role for Caitlyn, moving her from hitting to being a libero/DS,” Gallop com-mented. “She’ll be competing for the starting libero position, and I expect her to make an impact in the back row for us this year.”

Sophomore Ana Pajic started 20 matches and ap-peared in 30 contests. For her freshman season, she tallied 192 kills, 125 digs, 30 blocks and 23 service aces last season.

“Ana has made great improvements from a year ago,” Gallop remarked. “She is so much more mature as a volleyball player and it shows in her confidence on the court. I’m excited to watch her continue to grow both on and off the court.”

Ella Duggan appeared in 20 matches as a fresh-man last season, recording 41 kills and 34 blocks (seven solo).

“Ella is a lot like Ana, as far as improving from last year,” Gallop said. “She’s much more comfortable here and looks like a different player on the court than she did as a freshman. We think she can be a force in the middle for us this season.”

Madison Lord redshirted last season for the Blue and Gold and still has four years of eligibility left.

“Madison is a valuable player for us at the setter position because she provides depth, something that we haven’t always had at setter,” Gallop stated. “She’s also another example of a great all-around student-athlete with regard to all three aspects of the Student-Person-Player that is a foundation of Embry-Riddle Athletics.”

NEWCOMERSThis year’s team features five newcomers, includ-

ing three freshmen and a pair of junior college trans-fers. While the Eagles have a solid stable of returners, the newcomers will be asked to play a role in the suc-cess of this year’s team, while also forming the founda-tion for the future of this program.

Amanda Saunders joins the Eagles after spending two seasons at the College of Central Florida. Last year at CCF, Saunders registered 158 kills and 85 blocks (26 solo).

“Amanda comes from a program that plays at a high level,” Gallop stated. “She jumps high and hits

hard, but she also has a solid work ethic and is very coachable, which are two attributes every coach loves to see in one of their players.”

Asya Oguz played two seasons at Central Wyo-ming College where she averaged nearly three kills and over three digs per set.

“Asya probably has the highest volleyball IQ on this team,” Gallop remarked. “She knows the game so well, and once we can get her accustomed to our style of play, she can be an impact player for us.”

McKenna James comes to ERAU from O’Fallon Township High School in Illinois. In 2014, James was a first team All-Conference selection with 161 kills, 127 blocks and a .302 attack percentage.

“McKenna has the most versatility of any of our newcomers,” Gallop commented. “She could end up being a middle or a right side for us, and she can play both positions well. She’s a very well-rounded player and I’m excited to have her for the next four years.”

Ashley Humphrey is a 2015 graduate of Millbrook High School in Virginia, where she racked up 322 blocks and 276 kills in her three-year varsity career.

“Ashley will be a good middle for us,” Gallop said. “With the depth we have this year, we have the luxury of allowing her to develop rather than forcing her into a starting role right away. I’d like to see her make the same improvements Ella and Ana made from their freshman to sophomore seasons, and if she does, she’ll make a huge impact over the next few years.”

Jordan Nakayama comes from Spain Park High School in Alabama where she was a four-year letter winner and a two-time All-Metro Team honorable men-tion selection.

“We’re looking for Jordan to gain experience so she can help lead us in the future,” Gallop stated. “With Tamires holding down the starting spot for one more year, Jordan can learn from her and prepare to take over the position in 2016.”

SCHEDULEThe 2015 season schedule will be set up much

differently compared to recent seasons, due in large part to the transition to NCAA II. While the Eagles are not yet a full member of the Sunshine State Confer-ence, Embry-Riddle will still play a full conference slate of matches, which is a double-round-robin schedule of 20 matches. In addition, ERAU will take part in the

Sunshine State Conference/Gulf South Conference Crossover Tournament which will pit members of the SSC against GSC opponents based on the current standings in both conferences at the time.

The Blue and Gold open up the 2015 campaign with a pair of tournaments on the road, beginning with the NSU Shark Invitational hosted by Nova South-eastern in Fort Lauderdale. The Eagles will face East Central, Westminster, Virginia State and former NAIA rival Oklahoma Baptist during the two-day tournament Sept. 4-5.

The following weekend the Eagles will travel to Nashville, Tennessee to take part in the Scott Jones Classic where ERAU will face Bellarmine, Oakland City and the hosts, Trevecca Nazarene.

The home portion of the schedule kicks off against Florida Tech on Sept. 18. The next day, preseason No. 17 Florida Southern will visit the ICI Center for the first time.

After a road match at Rollins, Embry-Riddle will host defending national champion and preseason No. 1 Tampa on Sept. 26.

The next two weekends feature four road con-tests, including a visit to preseason No. 15 Palm Beach Atlantic on Oct. 9.

Oct. 16-17 is the Crossover Tournament, which is being hosted this year by Gulf South member West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia. The hosting respon-sibilities for the tournament rotate between the two conferences, so in 2016 a Sunshine State Conference school will host.

On Oct. 20 the Eagles will travel to Lakeland to face Florida Southern for the second time in 2015. ERAU visited the Lady Mocs two years ago where they fell in three sets.

ERAU returns home to host Eckerd and Saint Leo the weekend of Oct. 23-24 before traveling to Florida Tech and Tampa the following week.

Nov. 3 marks the beginning of the Blue and Gold’s final and longest home stand of the season. The five-match stretch begins with Rollins and will wrap up on Nov. 14 with Palm Beach Atlantic visiting the ICI Cen-ter.

The 2015 campaign wraps up Nov. 21 with a road match at Eckerd in St. Petersburg.

The 2015 season marks Joslynn Gallop’s 11th as the head coach of the Embry-Riddle wom-en’s volleyball team. The third head coach in the 20-year history of volleyball at ERAU, Gallop has charted a 244-94 record in her first 10 seasons.

In 2010, Gallop led the Eagles to what can easily be called the most successful season in program history. Under Gallop’s leadership, the Blue and Gold went undefeated in confer-ence play for the second straight season, racking up a 12-0 record and capturing the third regular season title under Gallop, and capturing the conference tournament title for the first time since 1998. As a result, Gallop was named The Sun Conference Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year and third overall. Gallop also guided the Eagles into uncharted territory, winning an NAIA National Championship Opening Round match and advancing to the NAIA National Championship Final Site. Both accomplishments were firsts for the ERAU Volleyball program.

The 2011 campaign saw Gallop lead the Blue and Gold to a 30-6 overall record including a perfect 12-0 record in conference play. The Eagles won the conference tournament for the second straight season and earned a bid directly to the NAIA National Championship Final Site by virtue of holding a top-11 national ranking in the final regular season poll. Gallop’s Eagles advanced to the quarterfinal round for the first time in program history where they lost to eventual national champion Texas at Brownsville.

In 2012, Gallop brought Embry-Riddle back to the NAIA National Championship Final Site for the third consecutive season after going undefeated in conference play and winning its third straight Sun Conference Championship. The Eagles finished 1-2 in pool play and were defeated by Hastings in a one-set tiebreak to advance out of pool play.

Gallop continued her run of leading the Eagles to the NAIA National Championship Final Site in 2013 as Embry-Riddle won its sixth consecutive Sun Conference regular season title and fourth straight Sun Conference tournament crown. The Eagles extended their conference win-ning streak to 76 during the 2013 season and easily advanced to the NAIA National Champion-ship Final Site with a 3-0 sweep of Mobile in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.

Under Gallop’s guidance, a number of Embry-Riddle student-athletes have garnered in-dividual recognition, including 36 All-Conference selections. Her protégé accolades include conference Player of the Year honors for Janelle Marinos (2005) and Abby Hall (2009 and 2010), Newcomer of the Year honors for Hall (2008) and Jordan Holcomb (2009) and Libero of the Year recognition for Julia Frasetto (2009), Nina Kontrec (2010 and 2011) and Hannah Gray (2012 and 2013). Gallop’s setters have also been recognized as the best in the conference as Marissa Gonzalez (2007-08), Adrianna Vazquez (09-12) and Tamires Ferreira (2013-14) all earned Setter of the Year accolades.

Gallop inherited a that team finished 3-30 in 2004 – the worst campaign in the 10-year history of the program. The Eagles’ losing record didn’t hinder her enthusiasm and the team’s success over the last 10 seasons is a tribute to her commitment to turn Eagle Volleyball into a successful program.

Before taking the helm at ERAU, Gallop faced a similar challenge of transforming a program when she was a two-year assistant coach at St. Mary’s College (Calif.), an NCAA Division I institution. She was an integral part of bringing St. Mary’s women’s volleyball to national prominence as the Gaels finished the 2004 campaign ranked No. 13 in the final USA Today/College Sports Television Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Gaels finished the year at 25-4 overall, which included defeating 2004 NCAA National Champion Stanford twice and advancing to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. In 2003, St. Mary’s finished with a 20-13 record and advanced to the first round of the NCAA tournament.

With the Gaels, Gallop was responsible for assisting head coach Jon Stevenson in day-to-day team operations, practice planning, scout-ing, recruiting and office administration. Gallop’s primary on-court responsibilities focused on the defensive aspects of the game with special concentration in blocking, while helping players hone their hitting skills.

Prior to her work with the St. Mary’s program, Gallop assisted head coach Craig Choate from 2001-02 at her alma mater San Jose State after completing her playing career in 2000.

A native of Roseburg, Oregon, Gallop was a standout student-athlete as an All-American player from 1997-00 at San Jose State. One of the most decorated Spartan volleyball players in San Jose State history, Gallop was a two-time honorable mention ASICS All-American and a two-time first team All-Western Athletic Conference selection. Gallop was the 1999 WAC Player of the Year and the 1997 WAC Pacific Division Freshman of the Year. Gallop holds four career, three single-season and one match record in the Spartan record book. She is the Spartans’ all-time kills leader with 1,966 and blocking leader with 456 total blocks. She also set career records for kill average at 4.40 per game and block assists with 391. Gallop set the San Jose State single-season kill record in 2000 with 630. In 1999, she set the season-best hitting percentage mark at .382, and the best kill average at 5.60 per game.

Gallop, who graduated from SJSU in May of 2002 with a degree in liberal studies, ranks in three other San Jose State career categories. She is second in hitting percentage at .310, digs with 1,052 and sixth in solo blocks with 65. Gallop also made an impact on the WAC record book as she is the conference’s all-time kill leader. She broke the WAC single season kills per game record in 1999 (5.60) and the WAC matches only kill record with 312 and kills per game (6.24).

Most recently, Gallop was named to the 15-year All-Western Athletic Conference women’s volleyball second team as voted by WAC fans in an online poll.

In the spring of 2008, Gallop was selected as head coach for the youth High Performance Teams through USA Volleyball. She served as the head coach for the Select Team ages 12-14 that traveled to Tuscon, Ariz. where the team took sixth in the nation. In the summer of 2009, she served as the head coach of the Youth Team for 15-16 year olds in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Gallop traveled to Venice, Italy in the winter of 2008 with the Bring It USA Volleyball Organization. During this trip she took 10 Florida high school players to compete in international volleyball with the goal of youth developmental skills.

In the winter of 2008, Gallop and former ERAU assistant Blake Rawlins launched the Atlantic Coast Juniors Volleyball Club. She serves as the Director of Coaches and the Program Manager for the club program.

Gallop and husband John Fairbanks have two children, Cole and Jarrett. The family resides in Daytona Beach.

VOLLEYBALL STAFF

After a four-year All-American career at Embry-Riddle, Jordan Holcomb joined the Eagle coaching staff a volunteer assistant coach for the 2013 season before becoming a graduate assistant prior to the 2014 season. Holcomb has helped the Blue and Gold to three straight appearances at the NAIA National Tournament with the Eagles claiming three consecutive Sun Conference regular season crowns and a trio of league tournament titles.

Holcomb spent the spring of 2014 playing for Askö Linz-Steg in Linz, Austria, helping her professional team compete for the Middle European League championship.

A native of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Holcomb came to ERAU after graduating from War-ner Christian Academy. Holcomb made an immediate impact, earning The Sun Conference Newcomer of the Year award in 2009 after racking up 308 kills, 203 digs, 57 blocks and a team-leading 47 service aces.

In her sophomore season, Holcomb was named to the All-Conference team after leading the conference with 62 service aces and ranking third with 358 kills. She also ranked in the top 15 in the conference in hitting percentage, block and digs.

As a junior, Holcomb earned All-Conference accolades for the second time after leading the league in service aces (59) for the second straight season. Holcomb also ranked in the top five in the conference in blocks, kills and hitting percentage.

In 2012, Holcomb capped her career by earning The Sun Conference Player of the Year honors in addition to another first team All-Conference selection and a spot on the Tachikara-NAIA All-America first team. Holcomb played in every set in 2012, compiling 474 kills, 387 digs, 94 blocks and 47 service aces.

Following a stellar three-year career at Embry-Riddle, Hannah Gray joins the Eagle coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2015 season.

A native of Orange City, Florida, Gray came to ERAU as a sophomore after spending one year at Palm Beach State College. Gray’s impact on the program was felt immediately, as she stepped into the role of starting libero and promptly earned Sun Conference Libero of the Year honors in her first season.

In 2013, Gray shattered the program’s single-season digs record with 809 and established the school’s single-match digs record with 44 against Madonna on Aug. 30. She earned the league’s Libero of the Year honors for a second straight season and received Tachikara-NAIA All-America Honorable Mention recognition.

As a senior, Gray earned TSC Libero of the Years honors for a third and final time and was named to the AVCA NAIA All-Southeast Region team after totaling 694 digs. She also became the program’s career digs leader, finishing with a total of 2,107 digs in just three seasons at Embry-Riddle.

DAYTONA BEACH

DAYTONA BEACH - HOME OF THE EAGLES

Daytona Beach is an ever-changing city of more than 61,000 residents. Located on the “Fun Coast” of Florida, the principal city of Volusia County, it has become one of the premier des-tination spots in the Southeast Region. Despite its continuous growth, it has maintained the spirit and serenity of a small, close-knit beach community.

The city is a year-round family-friendly resort area, which hosts large groups of out-of-towners that descend upon the city for various events, most notably Speedweeks in early February, Bike Week in early March, Biketoberfest in October and Spring Break throughout March.

Home to four colleges and universities, Daytona Beach boasts an excellent quality of life and is a city that thrives and cel-ebrates the diversity of its community.

Located less than an hour from Orlando and an hour and a half from Jacksonville, Daytona Beach residents have ample opportunity to experience both cities’ entertainment options, including Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, the Orlando Magic, Orlando City FC and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Daytona Beach continually exhibits its love for sports by host-ing numerous local and national athletic events at the Ocean Center and Jackie Robinson Ballpark.

Daytona Beach boasts three major sports franchises in NASCAR, the LPGA and the USTA. The Daytona Inter-national Speedway is one of the most recognizable race-tracks in the world and features the Daytona 500, Coke Zero 400 and numerous other auto racing events. The LPGA and USTA Florida both claim Daytona Beach as their organizational headquarters.

The beaches of Daytona rank sixth for beach destina-tions in the United States. Every year, millions of vaca-tioners flock to the Atlantic Ocean and Daytona Beach to experience the sandy beaches in Volusia County. The hard packed sand allows motorized vehicles to drive right onto the beach.

Daytona Beach is located a short, 55-mile drive away from the Vacation Capital of the World: Orlando, Florida. Orlando is home to Walt Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios, as well as the NBA’s Orlando Magic. Daytona Beach is also just 91 miles from Jacksonville, the 11th-largest city in the United States.

The average yearly temperature in Daytona Beach is 70.4º F (21.3º C), making for a warm and pleasant cli-mate in which to live. Winters are mild and summers are warm thanks to its location on the Atlantic Ocean and the Halifax River, an estuary which flows between the beach-side and the mainland.

Daytona Beach boasts more than 200 restaurants, in-cluding barbecue, Mexican, Oriental, Greek, Indian, Ital-ian, Thai, seafood, Cuban, health and natural foods.

3Embry-Riddle has three campuses: - traditional, residential campus-es in Daytona Beach, Fla., and Prescott, Ariz., and the Worldwide Campus provides educational opportunities to working adults at more than 150 locations in the United States, Europe, Asia, Canada and the Middle East.

15 The student/faculty ratio at the Daytona Beach campus is 15-to-1 and the average class size is 23.

27Embry-Riddle offers 27 undergraduate degree programs adminis-tered by the Colleges of Aviation, Arts & Sciences, Business En-gineering. ERAU also offers 15 graduate degrees, as well as four doctoral programs.

5700 The undergraduate enrollment at Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach campus is 5,700. Of that number, 17 percent are international stu-dents representing 98 countries.

Embry-Riddle’s 100,000 plus alumni include six astronauts6

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is the world’s oldest, largest and most presti-gious university specializing in aviation and aerospace. The curriculum covers the opera-tion, engineering and research of modern aircraft, alternative vehicles and clean energy systems and the management of aviation and aerospace organizations.

Approximately 34,000 students pursue degrees from among 40 degree programs at residential campuses in Daytona Beach, Fla., and Prescott, Ariz., and at more than 150 education centers for working professionals in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. Embry-Riddle also offers online coursework.

Embry-Riddle’s worldwide reputation for academic excellence draws students from all 50 states and nearly 90 nations.

The 185-acre Daytona Beach campus, located next to Daytona Beach International Airport, has 4,600 undergraduate and 610 graduate students. Excellent flying weather and the resort communities surrounding the Daytona Beach campus offer students an outstanding environment in which to study, fly and enjoy numerous recreational and cultural activities. The campus is within an hour’s drive of the Kennedy Space Center and the Space Coast and within easy reach of Orlando and Jacksonville, which offer a menu of arts, culture, theme parks, shopping and professional sports.

HistoryOn Dec. 17, 1925, 22 years after the historic flight of the Wright Flyer, barnstormer

John Paul Riddle and entrepreneur T. Higbee Embry founded the Embry-Riddle Company at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati, Ohio. The following spring the company opened the Embry-Riddle School of Aviation.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University began with a simple plan to train airplane pilots in a thorough, efficient manner and to cash in on a booming post-World War I interest in flying. Today, Embry-Riddle leads the world in aviation and aerospace higher education.

After a period of decline in the 1930s, Embry-Riddle sprang to life again in Miami, Fla., as World War II erupted in Europe and the demand for aviators and mechanics surged. Allied nations sent more than 25,000 young men to Embry-Riddle’s Florida centers to become pilots and aviation technicians. During the Korean War the U.S. Air Force con-tracted with Embry-Riddle to train airmen in the fundamentals of airplane maintenance.

In the following decades, Embry-Riddle expanded its international outreach and strengthened its academic programs. In 1965, Embry-Riddle consolidated its flight train-ing, ground school and technical training programs into one location. With dollars and trucks borrowed from civic leaders, the move to Daytona Beach signaled the rebirth of Embry-Riddle as an accredited university and the start of its odyssey to world-class status.

AcademicsEmbry-Riddle is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association

of Colleges and Schools to award degrees at the associate, bachelor and master levels, as well as doctoral degrees in five areas of study.

At many public universities, freshmen and sophomores are taught by graduate as-sistants, but not so at Embry-Riddle. Classes, which average 25 students, are taught by faculty who are accessible to students in class, during office hours and through university-wide voice mail and e-mail.

HousingEmbry-Riddle’s on-campus housing is an integral part of the university experience.

It gives students the opportunity to develop lifelong friendships and to appreciate the unique values that everyone brings to this diverse institution.

Students can choose from eight housing styles ranging from suites to efficiency apart-ments to traditional residence hall designs. All campus student rooms have telephone service, Internet access and satellite TV connection. Lounges, study and meeting rooms, game rooms and other common areas are available to all.

The housing facilities are enhanced by four campus dining locations, a fitness center and recreational facilities.

Extracurricular ActivitiesThe Student Activities Office coordinates numerous special events, such as comedy

shows, concerts, plays and weekly movies, as well as on-campus clubs and organiza-tions. Students can choose to get involved in more than 150 professional organizations, sports clubs, fraternities, sororities and special-interest clubs.

The university also gives students opportunities to work part time while pursuing a

degree. The Student Employment Office helps place students in jobs on or off campus. Job opportunities are available regardless of financial need and allow students to gain self-confidence, important time-management skills and valuable employment references.

After GraduationInternships and co-operative education opportunities, available through the univer-

sity’s Career Services Office, enable students to gain valuable experience in their chosen field. In many cases, students have been offered full-time jobs as a result of an intern-ship or co-op experience. The Career Services Office also has a placement program for graduates of the university. Counselors are available to help refine resumes, hone interviewing skills and help explore job opportunities within a vast network of companies.

The Industry/Career Expo held each November has become the aviation industry’s hiring event of the year. The expo attracts hundreds of recruiters from top companies looking to hire the university’s graduates. Professionals with an Embry-Riddle degree en-joy a variety of career options. Graduates have gone on to train as astronauts, fly planes, manage airports, design mechanical systems and serve as bank administrators. Included in the ranks of the Embry-Riddle alumni are six astronauts, a former U.S. congressman and a former White House Fellow.
