Visiting HendersonvillEDiscover Hendersonville, the perfect mountain getaway that offers the ideal combination of good food, great views and a wide range of activities for all ages. Hendersonville is located in the Western North Carolina Mountains between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Great Smoky Mountains, 22 miles south of Asheville and 15 miles north of the North Carolina-South Carolina border on a plateau 2200 feet above sea level. Hendersonville is perfectly positioned to enjoy the best elements of a typical mountain town because it consists of these key elements: mountain ranges, isolated peaks, a rolling plateau and level valley areas. Elevations range from 1400 feet near Bat Cave at the foot of the Blue Ridge to 5000 feet on Little Pisgah, and the pleasant weather makes for enjoyable exploring year-round. So whether you are seeking the adrenaline rush of white water rafting, craving the unique taste of a local brewery, hungry for history and culture, or just needing a breath of fresh mountain air, Hendersonville has what you need.
