Dirk Cussler presented the award duringthe final evening of the convention duringa dinner held at the Clive CusslerMuseum in Arvada, Colorado.

In its seventh year, the competition is open to new and recently published novels inthe adventure genre. Traditionally published, self-published and unpublished manuscripts areaccepted.
