Build complex business rules with specific conditions` related to the attributes of the service, client or staff - even the answers in a custom smart form (or assessment score or classification of a score or change in score! ). The rules can be configured to fire at specific time-based intervals while event based triggers will fire based on system events (eg. new client added to case load, client added to waitlist, appointment created, cancelled, signature required for document etc.). Another powerful trigger for workflow is Penelope’s ability to monitor specific user-assignable fields for either specific values or changes in values (eg. demographic fields, client age, language needs, disabilities, safety concerns etc.).
Our workflow tools generate tasks - such as alerts, notifications, smart forms, checklists of forms, reminders etc. that are assigned to specific staff, categories of staff or even clients! Tasks and communications can be sent to mobile devices in real time as well as popping up on screen and saving in the staff person’s unified inbox in Penelope for maximum efficiency. Supervisors can monitor task completion of their staff from their own dashboard. Nothing will fall through the cracks ever again!
