2016 DARMSTADT INNOVATION SUMMIT

The Third Darmstadt InnovationSummit on 23rd June 2016 tookplace in the Future Innovation Lab,Darmstadt. This year theDarmstadt Innovation Summithosted two special guests: Prof.Gloria Barczak (D’Amore-McKimSchool of Business, NortheasternUniversity) and Prof. Gerard Tellis(USC Marshall School of Business).They gave an insight into “NewPerspectives in InnovationManagement” and “RadicalInnovation: Patterns, Pitfalls, andPayoff”. Prof. Alexander Kock(Technische UniversitätDarmstadt) talked about “Effectsof University-IndustryCollaboration on TechnologicalInnovativeness of Firms”.In a varied World Café, nationaland international researchers aswell as specialists from differentorganizations discussed „FuturePerspectives on InnovationResearch and Practice“.

As a main part of the event, the Darmstadt Enterprise Innovation Award was awarded for the first time. The three awarded entrepreneurs gave talks about their excellence in innovating and co-developing with customers.
